Among the many amazing aspects of the Hadestown pro-shot, one of my favorites is the way Patrick Pages injury provides an excellent example of how disability does not have to be barrier to musical theatre. The way his injury was presented, especially in Hades and Persephone's dance, shows how with enough care, choreography and blocking can be modified for a disability and still present a beautiful story. In fact, the pro-shot shows how disability can not only be accommodated, but also utilized for characterization and storytelling.

I'm making my way through Colin Donnell's tv shows, and I'm on Arrow now. I've been a fan of his theatre work since Anything Goes, but I never really followed him on tv. I watched Irreverent recently and loved it. I'm not sure if I'll try Chicago Med, because I don't usually like medical shows, but we'll see.

Arrow is... something. I'm only a third of the way through the first season. The only spoiler I know is that Tommy dies. Sad.

So far, I like Tommy (of course) and Laurel, and they're cute together. Tommy and Thea have insane chemistry, but she's way too young for him. I really like Thea and wish she was on more. Felicity intrigues me, and so does Walter. Moira is so shady, but I want to know more. Tommy's dad is also shady, but he's kind of creepy and can go fuck himself. Laurel's dad can go jump in a lake, too. Diggle is cool, but they need to give him more to do than lecture Oliver.

Oliver is boring. His island scenes are so boring. His action scenes are boring. I just don't care about him lol. The people around him are so much more interesting. I doubt I'll watch beyond this season because no Tommy, unless something drastic happens in this one to make the main character and his story interesting to me.
