Last night my partner went to a wedding which of course meant cats on the bed >:)
However my two wonderful sons woke me up at 3:45 am to let me know that my first alarm was going to go off in 40 minutes.
When I finally tried to leave at 5:15, one tried to come with me--unsatisfied with our measly 6 hours of snuggles--and I was a cruel mother, explaining that children don't belong in factories no matter how much they yearn. Especially if they don't have thumbs.
He was upset to say the least.
