Peacocks are hilarious, really. They really are just like
I’ve been obsessed with this tiktok for days now
Person: "Hello sir." he pets the frog with one finger.
Person: "Have a good day. Actually wait a minute. You missed a bug, but I got you home boy. Hold on." he picks a bug up and throws it next to the frog.
Frog: turns around and eats the bug.
Person: "OHHHHH-" sings high pitched and angelic like he witnessed a miracle.
I would also make this sound, because I've never seen a video of a frog being good at its job before

I can’t decide whether seven bushmaster bites means you should stay away from bushmasters or declare yourself bushmaster king
Out of curiosity, I looked this up to verify the details. The name of the establishment was the Cape Fear Serpentarium and this tale is everything promised.
So the owner’s name was Dean Ripa, and he died in May 2017. His wife, Regina Ripa, was found to be unable to distinguish right from wrong at the time of the murder, was ruled not guilty by reason of insanity, and was committed to a psychiatric care facility instead of being convicted. In real life, this is an extremely rare ruling, and from what I read, she had a history of instability where she suffered from delusions and paranoia. When law enforcement had come out to the residence earlier that day because of a call she made, Dean, her husband, did in fact tell the officers she was genuinely unwell and needed to take her medication.
Their child was, at the time, three, and was unharmed in the incident. As the child was the rightful owner of Dean Ripa’s estate, the Serpentarium was unable to remain open legally. Being a child, they were unable to legally hold the necessary permits for the snakes their father had on the premises. A family friend had attempted to keep it going, but it looks like it was legally too complicated.
There was an article written about the site and Dean Ripa himself in the Oxford American that was posted posthumously. It provides a lot of detail and background on Dean Ripa, who was, to put it mildly, an intense man.
There are pictures on Trip Advisor of the exhibits.

[image description: image of an Aardvark with grey, yellow and white in the background. Text says “Parents say they just want you to be happy and get married” at the top and “Oxymoron” at the bottom.]
Here’s an old aro meme from 2011, which was before the rise of the “Ace Discourse” around 2015 (which may have started out as backlash in response to The Trevor Project deciding to include asexual people around that time). This meme format uses an aardvark to represent aromantic people. At the time, axolotls were often used in similar memes to represent asexuals, so the aromantic aardvark was chosen as the aromantic equivalent of the asexual axolotl. Aardvarks were considered to be somewhat of a mascot for the aromantic community for some time, though they have become less popular as a symbol in recent years.
This reads like a museum guide showing one of the most prestigious pieces in an exhibit

An oxymoron is a rhetorical device created by juxtaposing something with its opposite. The paradox of the negation serves to either elevate one or both contradictory aspects, or draws blatant attention to the inherent contradiction of the subject matter. The term is an old poetic Greek example of itself, coming from Oksus (meaning, sharp, used in the sense of intelligence) and Moros (meaning stupid/moronic). A smart stupid person, as originally depicted with the term, might be someone who uses the gift of their quick thoughts to expertly achieve counterproductive and self-destructive ends, or (oppositely) someone who, in their inability to think, accidentally arrives at the correct solution. Oxymoron, in English, exclusively refers to the poetic device, not the specific Greek example from which it originates.
In the joke depicted above, the word “Oxymoron” is incorrectly used to mean “contradiction.” “Be happy and get married” are two separate statements. Even if they were contradictory, as humorously implied, it does not fit the traditional usage of an “oxymoron.” Presuming they were mutually exclusive states of being, the oxymoron form would be “happily married.”
Regardless of the usage, the meaning of the joke would be understood: that the speaker (the aardvark representing a character in reaction image) believes that it is impossible to be happy if one is married. This is greatly contrary to the general perception in the early twenty-first century. Thus, using the label “oxymoron” makes this a statement about the aardvark itself; namely that it does not view marriage positively. Being representative of an aromantic character(as explained above), that is to say, an individual that doesn’t experience romantic attraction, this is a somewhat appropriate frame of mind for the character. This is appropriate for the 2010s style reaction image format, which often represented the slightly skewed thoughts of particular characters and emotions.
