Minnesota’s Giant Rainbow and Leather Pride Flags
June 28, 1998. Both flags measured approximately 50 feet wide and 75 feet long.
Friendly reminder that the leather flag predates almost every other flag. We owe this community to leather daddies and kinksters
In the era of corporate sanitization never forget it was leather daddies and S&M folks who protected some of the earliest pride parades.
this is really getting me
Was driving with my grandmother and in broken English she says “no eyes… no nose… no face. Don’t trust.” To which I looked around wildly in search of this omen of ill portend.
Cybertruck. It was a cybertruck.
best case scenario Digital Circus gets remembered in a similar way as Steven Universe: a show that was Really Fucking Good and had nuanced characters and interesting things to say, but the audience wasn't quite ready for it and it imploded into a discourse ball. four years from now I expect to see lesbians drawing Jax like she's a renaissance muse the same way people still draw Pearl or Lapis
why did "collect my pages" become the slenderman catchphrase didn't we all play that game
it's like 15 minutes long and the only premise it has is slenderman chases and kills you in order to prevent you from collecting somebody else's pages
All tuckered out
i love reading gacha game reviews like yeah the devs are super generous with the currency they just made up
I finally went to go see TADC finale and i found out first hand without being spoiled that the people that said it was bad just didn't like the show to begin with cause I thought the ending was built up pretty well like sure there are flaws but the ending was very bittersweet. Spoilers
The theme of "You can find meaning in a mundane life" is clearly shown in this finale. Seeing how happy the circus characters were, seeing that their human selves are just living their lives and have friends and a stable life, was able to show that theme. While I do wish we got more info on C&A and the other AI that Caine consumed, I'm glad we got what we did and I understand that TADC isn't a lore-driven mystery but a study of the characters in the circus and a cautionary tale to people who act like or do things similarly to Jax. Her sobbing and saying she didn't wanna go was heartbreaking, and it put her character under a whole new light for me. Same with Gangle, and I know that someday I am going to experience what she is going through when Jax abstracts. I am going to have a moment where I can't cry for a person who has hurt me, and then the next day I will probably be a sobbing and pathetic mess. (But that scene with how Jax sees Gangle, good lord, that threw me so off guard) I also love the scenes in the end where she and Caine get along, and she is teaching all the different mediums of self-expression. Also, the end credits scene of Zooble and Gangle finally getting to have sex was amazing, and I'm happy for them. Overall, I thought the ending was pretty good and fit in with the rest of the show pretty well, with some mild flaws here and there, and I'm glad I got to see it in theaters.
also for the record, parts of TADC finale where my movie theater got the loudest:
When Pomni pulled out the fucking GUN. People were going wild. We legit thought she was gonna shoot Jax like a sick dog
AND THEN WHEN SHE STARTED SHOOTING THE LIGHTS. OH MY GOD IT WAS INSANE
The Gangle/Maid Jax scene. Everyone lost their fucking minds when Maid Jax first showed up and then the REST OF THE SCENE happened and we were HOWLING
"REALITY'S GAY" IS POSSIBLY THE LOUDEST I HAVE EVER HEARD A THEATER. WE MISSED THE NEXT TWO LINES BC EVERYONE WAS SCREAMING LAUGHING SO HARD. AND THE AWARD GOES TO
When Ribbit put the bow in Jax's "hair". People gasped. I know I shouted something but I don't remember what. Most of us were thinking trans!Jax going in, especially when he said he confessed "something" to his Mom, but we weren't sure Glitch were brave enough to actually do it. The bow? "Isn't she lovely"? The pink streetlamp? We witnessed a Fucking Moment and it started with that fucking hairbow.
WHEN CAINE SHOWED UP. WE SCREAMED. Everyone was like "WHAT???? WHAT???? WHAT???????"
When the slideshow started. Ending with Pomni accepting herself as she is. Crying sobbing throwing up theater
And finally. Abstragedy sex. People fucking applauded. Happy Pride
You know that "every bat fits on this chart" meme post?
I'd like to humbly put this forward.

How do you know you're not Asexual? Maybe you just haven't met the right nobody.
This "allosexuality" thing is just a phase. You just need to have really bad sex, and then maybe you'll change your mind.
