Eco conscious

I had to calculate my carbon footprint for a class in grad school and I was the only student under the sustainability threshold. Not just in that class, ever.

I didn’t choose to be eco-friendly. I lived with 6 people and bought everything I owned second hand because that’s what I could afford. Wealth and waste are directly related. It doesn’t matter if you have energy efficient appliances and drive a hybrid, you still have a larger carbon footprint than every poor person you’ve ever met.
