Listen: Never tell a company anything during the job application process that they are legally prohibited from factoring into their decision whether or not to give you a job. This includes, but is not limited to:
Physical or mental disability
The law says that they are not allowed to consider those things in evaluating you as a job candidate, and there is a reasonĀ for that. Itās because a lot of people wind up discriminating against people for those things, even people who arenāt consciously trying to screen out people based on that stuff. Unconscious bias is a thing.Ā
So, since they arenāt allowed to consider that stuff, do yourself and them a favor and just donāt tell them.
