Arsonist (cleo)

HADM 31: Cleo

had a lot of fun with the poem yesterday so made another

flames lick,

mansion dark;

against night sky,

fire stands stark.

Three silhouettes,

outlined by light;

we watch the bonfire,

it burns so bright.

A manic laugh,

cold and bitter;

rushing through the blaze,

a leather clad figure.

The metal fire-start,

now cold in my hand;

piece of flint it's other half,

now lies dropped in river sand.

My sons and I stare

at the brilliant display,

at flames to match my hair,

that turn dark night to proud day.

The structure will return tomorrow,

this is a victimless crime;

so while Bad Boys sorrow,

I own the act that is mine.

I tried to get some sort of art for today but i am just not built to art that quick! Im gonna type and see if I'm eloquent enough to make poetry or somethin'

soft red roses sway,

sun shining overhead through pines,

imposing castle peace forbade,

blue welkin dragons fly;

I walk down dark cobbled path,

look down the lane thinking back,

and old memories this path hatch,

so upon tall spires my eyes fall flat:

A fortress built to impress,

in view of a tavern meant to unwind,

with grand ballrooms for lovely dress,

set in sight of those stuck in bind;

As travel leads me to these dark, long forgotten halls,

footsteps falter, from my mouth escapes a sigh,

for before me stands a velvet wall,

I pull it back to let in the light.

What on mars? i think i just got possesed. this was just meant to be a haiku but now lil peotic story based on gem's hc11 build. enjoy and support @hermitadaymay !
