the hardest part about riverdale autism is knowing what “dark betty” actually is in the context of the show. it’s so hard. No one knows thats not like a tangible identity that exists within the show. They don’t know there’s no transformation that occurs involving a party city wig. They don’t know. She’s being mocked and they don’t know. Fuck it’s so hard. Fuck.

like ok theres a lot of things people will just be confidently wrong about when second hand relaying info about the show to others. i dont know why this one always gets me. but its like if there was a scene in a show where a character (we will call him brad) was very drunk, and perhaps tangentially related to being drunk he was also wearing a stupid hat. and his friends were like "oh god here comes Drunk brad". and then audiences were like "what? what is drunk brad? is this an entirely separate character from normal brad? does the hat make him act like that?"
