Remember when i spoke of an idea for an AU of The Moomins?

Well i started drawing and witting it! It took me SO MUCH TIME to make a design that pleased me for the Spirit!Snufkin. But i was finally able to do it!

In this universe, The Mymlan (the mother mymble) and The Joxter are Spirits who accidentally created the world.

Incidentally they also created The Groke, Spirit of Winter; Mymble, Spirit of Autumn; Little My, Spirit of Summer and Snufkin, Spirit of Spring to make sure the world is kept in track while they flirt.

They are two main “races” in this universe:

The children of the Sun (Mymlan); Look quite alike to their Spirit ancestor, they live during the day, in communities, and hibernate during the winter.

The children of the Moon (Joxter); Are spirits who live during the night that can change their appearance to look like childrens of the Sun, they are really reclusive, all living separated and hiding from others.

Moomin is the son of the chiefs of the village, Mamman and Pappan (changed the names a little to avoid repetition). He is in a relationship with Snorkmaiden and helps around the village everyday.

My is friends with the whole group as she loves to roam around the other creatures and cause mischief wherever she goes. She hides her deity identity from the others so they can act normally around her.

Sniff is a wimp of a spirit, he lives with the Moomins as he was abandoned early in his life. He is an exception from the other children of the Moon because he lives during the day and is pretty sociable when he isn’t scared.

Snorkmaiden is a priestess (and the beauty of the town), she is tasked to exchange with the children of the Moon and to keep the legends of their world alive.

During the festival of Spring Snorkmaiden is tasked to make an important announcement, in the approaching year, the elders of the village will choose a new partner for the Spirit of Spring, My, being one of the Primordial Spirits, already knows who it will be and warns them so they can prepare themselves for their new life alongside a withdrawn Spirit.

The character will maybe be VERY out of character because i’m planning of keeping the story but changing the characters to make it into a book, kinda like the AMAZING!!!! artist avril_circus did. (i should save some money to buy their books :D)

Don't mind my thinking but i had a little idea for a Moomin AU

Getting inspiration of some others AU i read and saw illustrations of,

Moomin is a normal lad that is in love with Snorkmaiden but after a meeting between the elders of the village he lives at, Moomin has been chosen to marry the spring Spirit that lives in the forest outside the village

Moomin has to move out from moomin house to live with his new partner

The spirit is dressed in green and wears a big decorated hat with a veil covering his face, it is silent and doesn't speak with Moomin.

Moomin tries to do his best with his new situation...

I think i'm gonna do a ask blog kind of deal where i'll doodle the anwsers

this was inspired by “The comet in moominland” 1951 book, and here’s the link, my other works got copyright infringed so i hope i did enough to not get that happen again, i worked for 12 hours on this one and 6 ½ hours for the “it’s minnow season” one and all that work got reported maybe because i credited them on the illustration like an idiot

I digidy dang did it again! I designed a whole horror game in my sleep! First an anime then that!

Welp lets get that on production shall we? From what i remembered after waking up like 20 minutes ago it seems pretty short and has all the mechanics up all i'm missing is a story

I even dreamt of the title screen!!! And dreamt of f-ing needing to go to the internet because i couldn't understand how to beat the evil within the game

2 Disown, here is my interpretation of snufkin’s abandonment, joxter took his son with him but after some time realized he couldn’t properly take care of him, for his son to have a better life he decided to let him go to a hopefully safer place
