Jack and Michael just gave a statement on the pre-stream talk section. I’m not sure if it’s going to be archived, and hopefully somebody’s been recording to clip it, but I’ll summarize:

There is going to be no Off Topic discussion. This talk they just gave is the only official video statement anybody in the crew is going to make.

Likewise, there will be no “Geoff Statement”. Geoff is in a lot, a lot of pain over this, and does not feel up to making a public statement of any kind.

They apologized again for any pain that’s been caused. Everyone in the crew is absolutely destroyed by this. Jack and Michael are either crying or on the verge of tears the entire time.

They’re going to try to move forward from this point. They aren’t going to discuss him at all going forward. Videos are going to be taken down or edited. Obviously they cant fully erase him from the channel, as much as they would like to, but any content majorly focused around him will be altered or removed.

That being said, they don’t want it to seem like they’re trying to forget about this situation. They know that this is a catastrophic moment in their history and they know that it’s affected a lot of people, and they’re still working to make sure those directly hurt get justice.

Jack stressed that anyone who was personally involved with or hurt by him reach out and go to [email protected].

That’s pretty much it, glossing over a lot of emotion and apologies that can’t be communicated fully through text. We’re going to get through this together, yall.

an update to my “why is the fake ah crew logo a duck?“ post:

@demoncowedgar who tumblr won’t let me tag and this anon confirmed that the reason that the crew logo is a duck is because the official fahc motto is “nothing but ducks“, as seen on their rockstar games social club page.

it’s an intentional misspelling! despite gta v being rated M for mature, you’re not allowed to type “dicks”. ain’t that wild?

digging a bit deeper, @weheistin​ found out that the duck-related crew rankings were made by geoff, and discussed in let’s play gta v: co-op part 1!

for visual learners like me, i made this handy-dandy chart in microsoft word comparing the crew names to the official names!
