I saw your post with uhhhh undeadwill and while I have no interest in the debate you know that the american economy is the best it's been in like 60 or 70 years under trump right? A big problem with the poor is the inability to responsibly finance and they spend a shit load of money on garbage. A lot of people end up poor or homeless due to impulse buying of things they can't afford or drugs. A massive fix to poverty in America could be achieved from finance lessons in high school.

I’m kinda pissed because I already answered this and tumblr didnt post it, but no, the economy is not good when over half of Americans make under 30k a year. That’s poverty levels. When over 75% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck and over 70% of Americans are in debt.

Here’s a video on why the way Trump says the economy is good is not actually accurate.

And did you know that our government is currently giving the richest man in the world a welfare check on the average working American’s dime?

And did you know that a right wing study accidentally proved that the Medicare For All bill proposed by Bernie Sanders would cost Americans $2 TRILLION LESS than what Americans currently spend on healthcare?

If you ignore these facts, that says alot about you and Republicans as a whole.

In 18 months the police were called to her apartment 23 times.

Of the 23 calls to Lyles’ apartment, there were 10 reports of domestic disturbances, four domestic assaults, three burglary reports, two reports of child abuse or neglect, one threat, one welfare check, one report of a missing child and one follow-up on a previous disturbance.

Then in June, she came at the police with a pair of scissors. She dropped them when she was told to and was NOT shot.

The night she WAS shot, she came at them with a knife. There’s a recording available of that altercation.

She was insane and came at the cops with a knife. You want to blame someone? Blame her. You need another fall guy?? Blame Gov Jay Inslee. His utter incompetence resulted in the loss of over 20 million in Fed funding for Western State mental hospital, which of course was shut down… People with mental disorders don’t need subsidized housing where they stew in their own madness and pump out kids to treat like animals… they need professional help. Washington/Seattle can find hundreds of millions for homeless and street people, Heroin injection sites and cool street cars that go 10 whole fucking blocks.. But taking care of the mentally ill and drug addicted?? Nah… it’ll sort itself out.

I knew it was crap. Something didn’t smell right from the beginning, so I kept reading. I will now move on, and forget I ever saw this at all. Shame on you, to all who immediately jump on the “cops are evil murderers” bandwagon. Because you do every time. You immediately go to “because she’s black” or “because she’s a woman”. Never at “because she had a knife and was going to start slashing”. She shouldn’t have been killed and it is extremely sad, but when you are attacked by someone with a deadly weapon, can you truly say, those of you who have never been in that situation, that you would not have reacted with violence? Kind of impossible to react peacefully when people try to kill you.
