I don't understand why people don't want to interact with me, it kinda hurts to not have friends that message you back.

I admit that I don't respond quick, taking me an hour or two to respond.. But that's because I don't want to seem too desperate.

Like that time I was 13, I messaged classmates and friends like there was no tomorrow, and many people probably thought that I was so desperate. Reading messages through a screen was hard (and still is hard to this day), I couldn't tell if someone was smiling like I was when I sent them my messages, or frowning like I was ruining their day.

Saw someone messaged their loved one on a random Tuesday. Messages were sweet, but he had a scowl on his face. That made me wonder and think, was this how people perceived me too? An annoying inconvenience?

So I just stopped messaging my friends and left them ghosted. I’m sorry. I didn't want to feel like I was a burden and an annoying person to talk to.

But I guess that's why I don't have much friends to talk to, I am actually too annoying.

I hope for a day where I can text good morning to someone and get one back. Be as real as I can and do it together. Not be judged and hated. Have a great time in messages. And actually be able to read emotions and atmosphere through the screen.
