new fitness single, EP out Sept 11 on godmode
Raised Mormon, born under Scorpio. A fierce working-class domestic goddess. She sang the National Anthem at a Padres game, terribly, and when the people booed she grabbed her crotch and spit on the mound. 61,971 votes in the 2012 general presidential election â sixth overall. At 16, she was hit by a car that left her with a traumatic brain injury, and her behavior changed so radically that she had to be institutionalized. She posted George Zimmermanâs home address on Twitter, encouraged the beheading of guilty Wall Street bankers, and hosted her own talk show. From what I understand, Lady Tiresias lives in Hawaii on a 46-acre macadamia nut farm. Gradually losing her eyesight, she says. Expects to go blind.

BREEDING PROGRAM - NO TIME FOR 69
from AMERICAN MUSIC
Itâs 2am, they got Game 6 of the â93 World Series going on ESPN Classic, and Iâm nursing my fourth cosmo when suddenly I get a text from Nick. He says heâs working on something huge. Â Controversial. The hottest take. There will be think pieces. The Internet may run out of megabytes before allâs said and done. I tell him heâs out of his freakinâ mind. Then I tell him heâs a goddamn hero.
The fact is, no one has ever actually done a 69. Itâs physically impossible. A myth. Some fad cooked up by big global brands to sell deodorant and hamburgers to millennials. Even if it were real, thereâs no way itâs enjoyable for either party. Forget where you put your handsâwhoâs on top or bottom? Do you flip a coin to decide? Or maybe youâre doing it side-to-side? Wouldnât you just giggle the whole time? Itâs 69ing. And whatâs the rush? What Fortune 500 company are you CEO of? I mean, whatever happened to taking your time and doing a job right in this country? Take turns!
As for where you put your hands, Iâve heard the butt or back of the thighs will do just fine. â ADAM

They got this place two blocks past the post office, I want to say itâs downtown. A red roosterâs painted over the front door. Or maybe a hammer. You know the bar? Wood floors, big speakers. I donât remember the gig. I donât remember much of...

How to Flirt Online
2014: Roundup â˘Â Albums â˘Â Songs â˘Â Sounds
This is the fourth annual collection of my favorite sounds of the year. Itâs my favorite list to do by a long shot.
As in years past, Iâve pulled out the sounds from their songs and lined them up in the audio file above. The full list with descriptions is below so you can follow along.
(Previously: 2011 and 2012 and 2013)
I have more than twice the number of sounds from 2014 than in previous years, and the attendant audio collage is more than thirteen minutes long. Enjoy!
Oh, and Iâd love to hear what you think about this collection or if there are moments that stood out in songs for you this year. You can find me on Twitter at @matthewmcvickar or email me or drop a note in my Ask box.
