In memory of television, screen and stage star Randolph Mantooth who passed away on July 9th, 2026 at the age of 80 at a hospice facility in Ventura, California following a lengthy illness. Born Randy DeRoy Mantooth on September 19th, 1945 in Sacramento, California, he started acting in high school and received a scholarship to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts where he changed his stage name to "Randolph". After appearing in a few well-received plays in New York, he returned to California where he quickly became a popular and well-known staple of 1970s, 1980s and 1990s television, racking up a long list of acting credits. Best remembered for his starring role as Firefighter Paramedic John Gage on the NBC series Emergency! (1972-1977) and for his stints on the soap operas Loving, General Hospital, As the World Turns and One Life to Live in the 1980s and 1990s, he also made guest appearances on many popular TV shows during his almost sixty year long acting career, including Charlie's Angels, Battlestar Galactica, Diagnosis: Murder, MacGyver, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, L.A. Law, Baywatch and Sons of Anarchy.

Blitz growled as he stared at the note that had been taped to the absolutely trashed door to IMP headquarters.
Someone had broken in and made even trashier than it already was. But that wasn't the problem. Loona had been there, and now she wasn't.
Whatever asshole had managed to break in had also managed to subdue and kidnap his Loony!
A bitch was absolutely going to die for that transgression. No one hurts his kid and gets away with it!

Loona growled in anger as she pulled at the muzzle and collar that had been forced upon her. Not even her shifted form could get out of the fucking things.
And it was all because one of Blitz’s exes was jealous that he'd adopted her instead of having kids with them. And she blamed her even though she was adopted years after this bitch had a relationship with Blitz.
She had to wonder how the bitch got a hold of restraints like this though. This shit was high end. And she couldn't fucking get out of it or really fight. She had no choice but to wait for help to come.
And she absolutely despised it.

Millie and Moxxie were both ready with guns blazing as he led the charge into the warehouse that the kidnapper had decided to use. It was the place he'd been told to go, so he went. And if Loony wasn't there, he was going to blow a gasket. Or a few of them. And the fucking building.
He shook his head and growled as he entered. His eyes glowed with rage.
He could hear a familiar whimper though and he gritted his teeth and immediately ran in the direction of the sound. And was greeted through a small window in the cracked open door with his bitch of an ex, well, the craziest one at least, who had made his daughter fucking WHIMPER.
He barged in, “Alright, bitch! Let my daughter go!”
And his eyes widened as the smell of burnt fur entered his nostrils. And the clattering of an iron rod sounded throughout the room.
His bitch of an ex stuttered out, “Oh, oh! You weren't supposed to be here for a while! You used to take forever to do anything!”
And Blitz was enraged as he stared at not one, but three burn wounds on his daughter's body. And he saw red as the blood rushed to his head and he heard nothing as he dropped his gun and fucking pounced.
He couldn't even hear the bitch’s pained cries as she begged him to stop, but he wouldn't. She had dared to hurt his kid. HIS KID.
That was a line no one should ever cross.
And that was what got her throat absolutely ripped out by his extremely sharp teeth before she could even land a blow on him with a knife or try and get to her gun.
He threw the bitch's body away from him and licked the blood off of his teeth as he spit out the hunk of viscera that he'd ripped off of her now dead body.
His arms were still shaking as he looked back towards Loona. Her eyes were wide with surprise. His rage was cooling slightly as he simply marched over to her and observed the fucking restraints.
He growled. Special restraints that had been imported from another ring. But nothing that he couldn't get through. He simply withdrew a knife from his boot and got to picking locks and shredding through the more vulnerable parts of the restraints, grateful that Stolas had previously gifted him with a special dagger for Goetia level restraints in case one of his family ever got into trouble with Stella's side targeting anyone to get to him.
He got her free and made a sort of warbling purr sound as Loona whimpered again as the burns shifted with her movement.
He grumbled in displeasure as he observed the wounds closer. He would have to take her to the clinic to get treated. He didn't spare the dead bitch another glance as he stuck to Loona’s side. She had a bit of a limp now, likely from the initial fight at IMP when she was taken.
He simply glanced at a speechless Millia and Moxxie and they were off.
He growled low before he ordered them, “Burn the place to the ground.”
The two followed his order as he got Loona loaded into the van and as comfortable as he possibly could.

Millia and Moxxie stood outside of the infirmary room as they watched from the outside window. Blitz was watching the Doctor’s every move. His tail flicking in concern as he warble purred to comfort Loona as best as he could.
Millie quietly commented, “I ain't never seen him so enraged before.”
Moxxie nodded in agreement as he added, “He was so quiet. Still is. This scared him more than anything ever before, I think.”
Millie nodded as she added, “Yeah, it really did. He's so scared of losing anyone, and I can't blame him. It's part of why I put up with him spying on us so much. It's part of how he shows us he cares. And they targeted Loona today. His kid. They may act all gruff and stuff, but they do love each other so much. And this was terrifying for both of them.”
Moxxie nodded.
The two continued to watch from the window as the doctor wrote a prescription and handed it to Blitz.
Loona would be ok, but they all knew that Blitz was going to be clingier for a while to come.
