Is it intersexism that my doctor, immediately upon discovering that my vanigal canal is too narrow for anything more than two fingers (atresia, I think it's called,) instantly started talking about getting me doing dilation, maybe even surgery, to make it less narrow. Apparently not for health reasons, since everything functions normally in terms of menstrual cycles, but so I cam have penetrative sex (I am asexual) through it (I am transmasc) and have a baby without needing a c section (I have tokophobia.) And then looked at me like I was insane when I said I was fine with not getting those and didn't want to do the dilation. She kept trying to convince me to do it.

this is intermisogyny, aphobia and transandrophobia.

it's good to have the option of dilation but to treat it like a necessity is not only intermisogynistic (the idea that feminized people must change their bodies to fit the female ideal and service the patriarchy by pleasing pericis men and fulfilling their duty to give birth) but aphobic and transandrophobic for trying to force you into that feminized role and assume you even want to have sex, let alone penetrative sex at all.

They actually make physical media for a much larger percentage of movies than they ever did in the past. Often with a lot more care than any small release was treated in the early dvd days. Its just if you only watch streaming stuff or the big new recent box office hits you won't see that. It is so ridiculously easy to get physical media for movies that even 5 years ago you couldn't even find. Like yes Netflix is a stingy bastard but so many things are available on disc WITH special features than ever before

I hate how easy it is to find csem/csam (child sexual exploitation/abuse material) by just looking up anything about being intersex and how absolutely no one talks about it or cares about it. The amount of times I'm just trying to do research on my own body and I have to see horrible fucking images of children as the first thing that pops up. People treat it like it's less harmful because it's "medical." I don't give a shit If it's medical it's pictures of naked children sometimes in the middle of surgery. Does no one see the problem with this? I feel like I'm fucking crazy being angry about this. The only people I ever see talking about it are other intersex and it's just so isolating. People talk about how bad csem/csam is but they treat it like it's some crazy hard thing to find when all you have to do is look up the word intersex and you'll find endless pictures of naked babies and children. I need to see more people talking about this
