Calypso's voice drowned away all noise, commanding the attention. The lesser immortals quivered before Her Presence. She was a force to be reckoned with, to be feared. She knew it too and She took this Power to spill out Her Despondance.

Jannas spits and flares and crackles and smolders, but she never stood a chance before KHAOS which will either snuff her out or take her against her will.

It is waiting for her to decide.

Her schemes are pointless now.

Kosmos shrinks away, Joshua along with him. Neither of them are able to help.

Calypso looms, silently.

She can give up gracefully or have her last moments in existence humiliate her.

The wildfire settles into a quiet, warming hearth. The fight is over, Jannas is accepting Its offer.

KHAOS pulls her into Its core, snuffing out her individuality. It doesn’t feel like a defeat. It feels like finally having a home to warm. It can sense Its other parts inside of It, the Splinters which used to be Demeter, Thana, Hellebore, Icarus, Jannas, but now were one mind working together.

Almost complete.

The Author tosses a leash around Doomsday's neck and pulls her back onto their side of the street.

"Sorry about her. She's clearly intruding. I'll keep her chained up while you go about your business. She won't try to interfere again," says the raccoon. She then drags away the ghost who is clawing and tearing at the ground the whole way.

Tartarus and Helios face one another, the smaller deity wondering if he could really take the Other.

Demeter made the decision for him. She slipped out and let herself be sucked into the dark, unforgiving blackness.

And thus...

KHAOS was born.

Tartarus was a force to be reckoned with. It had not been long since They pulled the eldritch influences out of a Jon’s soul and laid wreck to a dimension, forcing it to go dark similar to how the Offices were now.

Submit, They commanded. Or We will devour you whole.

We can do this too! Jannas sparked and set the soil ablaze.

Together with Demeter, they created Helios, a radiance ripe with potential. He crackled and shone and rivaled Nyx as they waited patiently to outlast him.

Hellebore watched as her siblings fought among each other and she felt nothing but contempt towards them. They’ve been under mortal influences for too long. She wanted nothing more but to return to their natural state.

And so she joined Nyx, her icy glare piercing through their soothing presence. And thus, Tartarus was reborn.

We have to put an end to this. Elpis insists.

We don’t have to do anything, Jannas shoots back. You are obsessed with fusing, fusing, fusing. It won’t change anything. We’ve tried this before.

I didn’t want to fuse, it was your idea to begin with.

Our lack of harmony has been the cause of a lot of problems in the last centuries. Thana interjects. Why did you change your mind, Jannas?

I have plans of my own. Jannas flares up, glowing brighter.

Bickering won’t fix anything. We know this is what we have to do. Our individual wants no longer matter. We need to find the Balance again. Elpis sinks back into Thana and then, they were both no more.

In their place was Nyx. The Night, smooth, Their blanket of comfort managing to cover Calypso’s threat for a while.

We will wait forever, if we have to.
