Following up with the oil painting class, I used the same brushes & methods to do a portrait study! Quite happy with how this turned out. Probably gonna be drawing a lot of bald floating heads. Do you recognise her?

Some non geek related posts… I’m trying to learn digital oil painting! María Fe K. on Skillshare had this lovely tutorial to draw this particular scene and learn some oil painting basics along the way! Plus with a free sample of her brush pack. This is sounding like a sponsored post but I swear it’s not lol I’m just excited to be trying something new and fun. Those weird black blobs are meant to be sea lions but I ran out of patience to fix them, so here we are.

Anyway I turned my computer on for the first time in 1.5 years and literally every character had a birthday present to pick up on GW2. Super excited for the upcoming expansion, hopefully I’ll have the $ to upgrade my toaster of a computer up to something that’ll actually work.
