You have to watch the dosage.
You have to watch the dosage.
a post about sharing older digital art made me dig up my 14-year-old (!!) pokemonathon drawings from 2012-2013! I think I made it through the first ~80 which was a miracle of sustained effort at the time. some fun shape design in here, probably thanks to the tiny ink thumbnails that I'm very glad I saved. I still have real fondness for them! Even though my main approach for each of them was very clearly 'what if this were more of a cat.'
I translated Kousuke Fujishima's design commentary for the Symphonia cast!
Another wizard cat 🌷⭐️
Generational differences!
I like that the first mom still wears the type of earrings she wore when she was a teenager :)
every time I'm too scared to pull the trigger on a bluesky post, I know I can post it here. you all get me.
yesterday I got the "are you a boy or are you a girl" question from a six-year-old, and I told her that some people aren't boys or girls (like me!) I was expecting her to be a little confused, but she nodded thoughtfully and said, "wow, just like snails."
tell me a pretty thing.
In Uzbek we have this concept of the divine dark, the darkness from which all things came. So there’s this idea that shows up in a lot of our literature that when the world was first made it was like a gentle night, peaceful, quiet and pitch-black. The night is when creation started and the night is when you’re closest to glimpsing what it was like at the very start of the world.
oh wow that's gorgeous.
I wonder if kids aren’t as afraid of the dark in Uzbek.
literally my second biggest flex is that the guy behind osha official is my mutual. first biggest flex is that there's a discord server dedicated to hating on me
GUYS???
You know technology literacy is dying because I saw this meme with 76k likes
F11 the full screen button? You’re scared of the full screen button? F10?? It opens the menu bar???
Computers are so scary what if I accidentally hit F12 in a steam game and it takes a screenshot. What if I press shift + F12 while in word and accidentally save my document 😖
If you had to learn what the F keys on your computer do through me reblogging this post, then I'm glad you did. Computer literacy is not a skill that gets taught anymore, and it is absolutely one that needs to be taught in order to be learned. Don't ever feel bad for not knowing something, but ☝️ don't ever stop learning learning about your environment, the tools you use, and especially the people around you
Never stop learning+ Never stop sharing what you learned
weeks 21-28 on my weekly poster challenge this year. Unfortunately I was only able to hit 28 out of 52 this year, so I know at least one goal for 2026.
1-10 here. 11-20 here.
our landlord has started ominously talking about doing property valuations for our flat so we've decided to make some mortgage appointments to see if we actually have any reasonable chance of buying something if we get kicked out. stressful, hassle, yadda yadda, but the point is i'm filling out this mortgage website's form with our details and it asks for your occupation via a dropdown menu
unsurprisingly, 'learning technologist' aka my job is not listed as one of their occupations. weirdly neither is 'IT support' which was the next closest position i could think of, but whatever, still not too unusual, but then i started scrolling down the list of what this website DOES have for accepted occupations and now i have some questions about how they establish what jobs need to be included as options
more of the only jobs that exist according to this mortgage broker
thank fuck someone is finally giving some representation to the barley roasters and the fire eaters out there. it's about time
