Ek kiran.. and A Ray of Hope.

Sana slept every night waiting that her better half would come and hug her, but she could never have that as she would sleep before he came and innocence would envelop her nights. Every morning she would get up with a beautiful smile of her self esteemed goodness. She had a prowess of Art, which always would keep her fresh and gave strength to make ways for new accomplishments. But at the same time she waited for a touch.. the magical touch which would say, "I belong to you and you mean so much to me." That ray of hope she always carried with her till she came to know that there were some other women who were given the same throne as hers. That she was not so special a being for her husband that she could not love someone else at the same time, that she could not do things of her own will, that she was just a puppet in hands of a man too manipulative, and that she was just another woman living. A few years and all the psychotherapists followed her to make her believe that she was special and normal. And yes she was, as she never stopped yearning for the ray of hope. Although a grim dirty Kiran(ray) was always there.. but she waited for the pious and the Radiant, the melodious and soothing one to bask in.

WOMEN @ FRIEND= POWER

I met bright and fragrant colors 

I met some Women

Their eyes smiled

Their words were music

I saw myself in each one of them

As I see a mirror!

I felt their power

As I feel it inside me

As I feel it when I pray

I felt so powerfully feminine at core

And so did they.

And i was sure,

WHEN U KNOW, YOU ARE BEING GASLIGHTED

Gas lighting is the worst tool a person can employ to prove that he is right. The one who employs this method is either an over ambitious person or a jerk. And the one who is a victim may or may not know. If the victim does not know, he may develop a personality disorder, as he accepts that what is being told to him is right. And he starts believing that he really has some problem within. But what if he knows that he has fallen a pray or become a victim of this practice, and cannot do anything to raise a voice against it? Isn’t there a possibility of his developing doubly serious mental or physical ailments? Gaslighting, is quite a new word for me, but the practice is far too old. More chances of this being practiced by a close circle of friends or a family member for their personal gains or one step higher existence. The motive is to keep the victim in control, keep them useful for the personal growth, or trying to keep them shut so that they may not talk ill in society about the controller and otherwise, start believing that what they think or see is just their own mental story. The victims mostly start believing that they are wrong and need psychological help. So guys, when you experience this (I think your conscience will tell u faster than u discern) for the very first time, stop, think, and take another chance and walk out of that relationship. Beware, it may be a friend, a sister, brother, husband, or even a mother. Believe in yourself. Mind you if you are already taking a counselling for some other reason, don't blame anybody else, as there can be many other reasons for psychological disorder other than GASLIGHTING.
