PRECIOUS - 5 months old to ADOPT

Like I mentioned today in my other post, this beautiful kitty is to adopt. He lives in Florida.
Please remember when you adopt, it’s FOREVER. He needs a good home, lots of attention, patience, love, care and someone who can teach him to function with one eye and no depth of perception.
He is a feral cat who was rescued and lost an eye to an injury. Important is that hew new owner has good socialization skills and patience. He is trained with the little box, still afraid of people but with love and patience he will go through that.

I can just tell some of my experiences, I had twice cats who were scared at first. My first was a rescued cat, 10 years old and before he went in the cats shelter he was mistreated and really scared of people. So 7 years ago we wanted to take a little kitty but the woman at the cats shelter thought maybe Dino would be good for us, she felt something about me that I could be good for him, we weren’t sure because Cleo and Dusty were 11 years old. Dino was there since 5 months because no one wanted him. She was right because when she put him in my arms, he purred happy, for the first time after many months, he felt safe. Cats feels if you are good or not, they come to you or they run away. The second one is our Mina now. She was scared, she already had an owner for 1 year, as you know if you follow my blog from the beginning. It took me 3 weeks to make her feel home and trust us, as it wasn’t easy at all neither for her neither for me because she bit me, it wasn’t good but she is my little one, it’s like to have a child, you don’t give your child away, so I continued to be patient and showed her we care a lot about her. And like Precious she was scared of men, so my husband couldn’t caress her for a little while, after 3 months he could caress her completely without her being scared or looking at me with big eyes, that came with patience.
Precious will go through that too but like I said, patience, love/affection, and also you have to play with him. I used to play hide and seek at midnight because Ginger wanted me to play with him in the night and he is like a toddler, he didn’t want to sleep if he didn’t get his cuddles/caresses before he went to sleep now it got better because he has Mina, it’s always good when they are 2, they can play together. But there are exception, where sometimes a cat wants to be the only one.
So I hope Precious will soon find someone who has time to take care of him, play with him and lots of patience. Thanks for having read my message. Link on top for adopting him, you will find more information.
