GONCHAROV (1973) dir. Martin Scorsese
KIM KITSURAGI — Victim is male. Late 40s or early 50s. Heavily onset male-patterned baldness covered up by an expensive hair plug job. Passport found in his jacket indicates he's from South Africa. The body is fresh, decay is absent. Probably dead for less than 24 hours. No lividity or injuries are obvious from external examination.
PERCEPTION (SMELL) [Easy: Success] — Kim removes the victim's pants. Immediately, a wretched cocktail of odors hits your nostrils like an explosion in an emerald mine running on child labor.
KIM KITSURAGI — Cause of death: fardded and shidded himself to death. Fardded and shidded and cummed.

I find this fascinating
"We join Jim as he reunites with his family and starts a new unlife indulging in eating the flesh of the living and fighting the good fight against rot and decay."
"You've got red on you..."

Ahh! How do you reply to stuff on Tumblr!? HALP COMPUTA.
It seems like a few strange omissions went on if they were in the trailer. Was the movie having rating troubles or anything? If they were cut at the behest of censors or pacing reasons it sounds like the movie might benefit from them being added back in. Maybe a few explanations for what motivated the characters to do what they did is tied up with them hopefully? And yeah, it’s been awhile! Decided it might be worthwhile to make a Tumblr account the other day and was glad to see you’re still on here. I miss our little chats like this, lol. If you decide do more blogging and reviews I look forward to getting the straight dope on movies from ya again! I might turn my hand at mini-reviews myself with Master of the Flying Guillotine up next.
Tumblr can be a pain to figure out in the beginning, especially since they updated everything lol. This’ll help!
I’m not too sure if they had any trouble with the rating’s board. I don’t recall hearing anything…and this movie did get away with quite a lot, gore wise. It did feel like things were missing though…the first act just coasts by so quickly with little build up. I hope there will be an extended cut. Oh hell yeah! I’d read ‘em! I was doing the writing thing for a while over on Strange Kids Club. Loved it, but life and job stuff just zapped my will to write and I got lazy. I figure I’d start back up here just for fun.
Thanks for the tip! Ah, Tumblr also suffers from these kind of aggravating 'updates', great lol. Well I'll just have to get used to it heh.
I see. It certainly sounds like a few bits are missing, there importance is hard to speculate on but fingers crossed any sort of extended cut makes the film feel more rounded off.
Cool, hehe. I'm going to try and practise writing reviews to the point I can do more in-depth and interesting ones without having to spend hours typing and revising them but for now I think this may be a good way to keep track of what movies I'm watching and chat about them from time to time. I know exactly what you mean about losing traction on writing things like that, but a blog like this seems like a good outlet for expressing views on movies and such with any spare time, I'm trying to treat it like that myself.
Also I looked up Strange Kids Club after you mentioned it here and found your profile, only read a few submissions so far but they were a good read. For instance haven't seen the latest Ghost Rider movie, I'll have to look that one up soon.
I feel like this should be a meme (that is, someone doing something mildly inconveniencing shouting “YOU SEE WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU MESS WITH THE ORPHANS!?”). Why isn’t this a meme?
I’m gonna miss Merle
