I know this might sound weird but this actually does happen or at least it can if you let it. My family and I moved to a new state and it was fresh start and we all found ourselves trying new things and discovered that where we ended up had a much better fit for our personalities than where we came from. Sometimes a fresh new start CAN do this for you. Sometimes you find nicer people by allowing yourself the fresh start and you find your personality does change not because you are a new person but because you're finally allowed to be yourself in a space that is better for you.
