Saturn's north pole !

The hexagon is nearly 30,000 km (20,000 miles) wide. This is large enough that two Earths could fit inside the storm with room to spare.

It is a standing atmospheric wave created by a powerful jet stream that wraps around the pole. Winds along its edges can exceed 300 km/h (about 220 mph).

At the very center of the hexagon lies a deep, dark polar vortex that extends hundreds of kilometers down into Saturn's atmosphere.

I don’t like specific lists of things to accomplish in a year so I don’t vibe with make9s or long term project planning BUT I do love checking off squares and marking off things I did so I’m trying bingo.

No specific patterns or designs, theoretically fiber craft agnostic, hopefully a good mix of being encouraged to try new things without being overly prescriptive about it.

Okay so I only just found this at more than halfway through the year but I may be giving it a try - see if it can help me balance my fibrecrafting with my shifting fixation on sewing!

(If I counted things I'd already done earlier this year I would have . . . 15 squares already marked off. ^^; I may resort to that for some of the trickier ones BUT I'm going to try and start From Now. We'll see!)
