- He’d be an idiot not to notice your height. I mean, he’s anobservant man, and constantly having to look down for any sort of eyecontact would be pretty obvious.
- Not to mention leaning down to kiss you, constantly kissing your hair,leaning his chin on your head. He had grown quite accustomed to yourstature, and he found enjoyment in it.
- But holding the Yamato by his side one day it became heavilyobvious just how short you really were.
- Your head was just an inch below the end of its handle,something that felt almost comical to the taller male.
- He bit back a laugh, having to audibly clear his throat and lookaway from you. Something about this newfound knowledge was incrediblycute, though you’d never hear him admit it.

- An indignant gasp leaves your lips, eye blinking in shock whenyou looked to confirm what he claimed. You hated he was correct inhis observations.
- “Sh..shut up,” You huffed, crossing your arms and lookingaway, “Can’t help that your sword is absurdly long. Are youcompensating for something?”
- Vergil let out a low, rumble of a chuckle, wrapping an armaround your body and tugging you against him.
- He leaned down, murmuring against your ear, “Now now, you knowfull well that isn’t the case, brat.”
- Now you were the one clearing your throat, voice cracking a bitwith how flustered that made you, “Y…yeah…well…”
- Vergil let out another rumble of sound, lifting you up andmaking you huff as he turned you around to press a kiss to your lips.Something about the way he handled you made your head even moreflustered. Christ, he was strong. And he knew damn well what effectthat had on you.
- “Your size pleases me,” Vergil murmurs to you when he pullsaway, his sharp eyes going soft for a moment as he holds you off theground, “Holding and carrying you is so enjoyable. As is making youwork to kiss me–seeing you on your toes trying to reach my face ismy favorite part of the day.”
- You huffed again, looking away as he kissed the underside ofyour jaw. Trying not to make it obvious that he was charming yoursocks off, “Laugh it up, one day that growth spurt will hit mesuper late. Then its over for your shenanigans.”
- “Dream as much as you like, brat,” Vergil smirked again,pressing his thumb to your lips as he said in a low tone, “But youand I both know the extent of your enjoyment for how I hold you.”
