There’s an urban legend at your school which says that at the first week of Autumn a mysterious portal opens up in the woods near the playground. Allegedly, this portal is hidden deep inside the small forest, which is what makes it hard to be found.

There are several different variations of the story that tell what happens if a person enters this portal. Some people say that everyone who’s ever dared to go in there died, some say they were transported through time, others say you end up in a parallel dimension or that you get psychic powers.  It seems like every year a new hypothesis pops up.

Regardless, not that many people seem to actually believe in the existence of this portal. Many people think this urban legend was actually created by older students to amuse their younger siblings or make the school grounds seem less boring than they are.

Well, this year you and a group of friends decided to adventure out into the woods. You aren’t actually looking for the portal, none of you even believe in it, it’s just a random exploration thing. 

And that’s why you don’t even want to believe your eyes when you end up finding the portal…
