I was planning to paint this one for a while. This is perhaps one of my oldest OCs, Allia (came up with her when I was around 10?). The story I wrote for her was way too convoluted even back then, but to sum it up, the setting was a world with city-states with authoritarian regimes. Allia lived in the literal underground of one of those cities with other mutant humans who were discriminated by the government (and yes, her ‘hair’ are literal eyes, with muscles and blood vessels and all).

Always thought of her as kind of Medusa... except no snakes, just eyes.

Ailo Runarsen

concept - clothes and weapons

Ailo is a half-dwarf Avvar - so his clothes are obviously based on the Avvar garments in-game, but I also referenced viking and Inuit clothing.

His spear is inspired by the winged spear (i’m thinking about tweaking the design a bit, but i’ll see).

When he uses the Avvar war paint, it is also sometimes influenced by the designs of the tattoos of the castless dwarves - therefore more “geometric” in appearance in contrast with the more organic designs of the Avvar (the dwarven side of his family was actually from a higher caste back in Orzammar, but since they have left for the surface, they are effectively casteless).

My new Dragon Age OC, a character I came up with for a DA DnD :>

He is a half-dwarf Avvar living during the second Blight. His weapon of choice is a spear (though he is quite proficient with daggers and bows if needed). I am still working on fleshing out his backstory and I’ll probably show some tidbits here from time to time

Inktober day 30 - The Inquisitor

So, that's it. My first Inktober is over. It wasn't easy at times and I often had to catch up on several days (first semester at uni got busy), but I've definitely learned a lot from it. I used to be afraid of inking actually, but now I find it really fun! All in all, this was a great experience. And I'd like to thank you for all the likes and support! <3

Last three prompts! Since they are about the player characters, I decided to make a tiny portrait for each of them and include their main 'adversaries' for each game. And a bunch of symbolism or whatever. First up is Silas Mahariel, my Grey Warden. 🌿
