D&D Session 5- “We Heard You Were Expecting a Package ;)”
It’s been a while kids, here’s some DnD highlights:
Last we left off the gang has been tasked with transporting a box to the guard station. They hitched a ride with a caravan who is transporting goods. Kirin is letting Elliot ride on her back. And Svedka Pan And Dae Are chillin in the wagon, after having put the wagons inventory in the bag of holding, to make space for themselves.
-“Huh, what’s that faint orange glow coming from outside?”
“Oh that? Yeah the wagon is on fire.”
-Insert 🎶The Wagon is on Fire🎶 from the Oregon Trail
-Elliot “I cast Water Cube on the wagon!”
Svedka “What does that do?”
Elliot, “I’ll give you one guess”
-Daewryn, only one still in the wagon, gets a waterlogged cube wake up call “WhaT thE FuCk was tHaT”
-DM: “Okay Kirin what do you do?”
Kirin: “What do you think? I’m dashing tf away!”
Elliot: “I’m still on your back! Hold on!”
Dm: “Elliot, roll and Athletics check to hold on.”
KiriN: “This Cleric Empty, YEET”
(Elliot gets promptly yeeted from Kirins back)
-Svedka after realizing that the bandit is too close for her thundercannon, “oh I have a hand axe, okay, Uh, I Hand Axe That Hoe”
(actually manages to kill with Hand axe)
-after Pan entangles them, the gangs manages to kill them, but the driver of the wagon is hurt, and his buddy is dead.
Driver: “Is he gonna be okay?”
-The gang finally arrives in the city of Kaladar and after more of Daewryns Smooth talking, sorry, frantic arm movements, we got past the outer wall
-DM: “moving toward the inner wall-“
Svedka: “that’s what she said”
-DM: “wait is Elliot still riding Kirin?”
Kirin: “Elliot’s been on top this whole time.”
Svedka: “that’s what she said!”
-Elliot “I try to do a cartwheel, but casual.”
Dm: “okay roll an acrobatics check”
Dm: “Okay So you do a cartwheel but it doesn’t look casual, it looks like you tried to hard.”
-We have a “package” for you
-the gang delivers the package to the Head of the guard, Tristana
-The gang is super suspicious about the package
-Elliot, to Tristana: “oh my god do you think it’s a bomb?!?”
-Somehow we don’t get arrested
-on their way out Svedka tries to trip Daewryn, who rolled a nat 20 for acrobatics, and does a beautiful flip. As retaliation he tries to slap Svedka who also rolled a nat twenty, and flips out of the way.
-Elliot: “what the fuck just happened?!”
Svedka: “Oh shit! We never gave back the stuff inside of the bag of holding from the caravan!”
Elliot: “Ooh that’s bad. Should we give it back?”
-they do not give it back
~the gang accidentally stole a bunch of inventory from a poor caravan~
