Introduction

Hi there! You can call me Lady in Blue, Lady or Blue, whichever you prefer!

This is my slimeknight and sf/dawtde centric blog where I post my art and writing. I have a reblog only sideblog here! Always happy to collect other people's art.

This account will try to stay sfw as much as possible. I have plans for a nsfw alternative (either private tumblr or another platform with a password), but please make sure to tag/block things and stay safe!

Tagging Vessel!Avery is indeed hard LOL! Is it Slimeknight? Is it DerKing? Is it whatever we want it to be? I don't know! It's complicated pffft

Especially with the way I see my own Vessel!Avery design, it's definitely neither Avery nor the King/Hastur. Even Derek is a little confused by that! A new life with Hastur's powers and goals, Avery's physical appearance and slime properties + love developed obsession for Derek, but other than that, he has nothing to do with neither.

AND YES the bunny meme is 1000% fitting PFFFT. Oh my god it's really the dynamic i had in mind

Vessel!Avery might probably just shapeshift back into original Avery's height (then becoming less tall than Derek) just so he can get maximum efficient cuddle time™ together.

evil fucking discovery. ok so. given the fact that avery's dawtde screenshots do show they're taken on new year's eve i would assume that we're meant to believe the screenshot date/times are the actual canon time. which leads to two horrible things:

This places Derek's SFAWTDE footage at September 1st, 12:08am. and 43 seconds of course. Which means. He would have been stuck at his computer for four months. Which also means that in four months not a single person checked on him.

Here's a screenshot Avery takes in DAWTDE 13 minutes into his footage. December 31st, 4:26pm.

Do you know what that means. Do you know what time we could calculate if we know what time Avery started recording. Yeah that's right:

At midnight on New Year's, he was in his trance completely unaware.

Unfortunately idk if there's any way to get Derek's time of death since his footage is gone but. Yeah. If we're to believe this then Avery was in his trance when new years hit which Sucks. and is evil. i checked, 7 hours and 47 minutes into avery's footage would be exactly when midnight hits and. he's just planting flowers at a grave. like fuckkk.fuck okay.

ALSO i am aware now thinking abt it that this. Doesnt Fit Right because later on avery says "its almost midnight" after his trance.but you know what. i like this better. i like my version i figured out with Logic better . who cares.

Oka but if you were in a trance it won't be impossible to be so disoriented that you couldn't tell the time right. Plus, Avery was just a mess at that point so both could be right tbh??

YUP actually thats a really good idea. it already was midnight and when he got out of the trance he had no idea how much time passed and fully thought it wasnt midnight yet ....guhh

YEA thats what im thinking. also im so serious i Was trying to calculate minimum soylent amount. i didnt get anywhere but i was trying to. everyone play their part lets calculate how much god damn soylent this guy had for it to last him 4 months

the suggested amount of calories that the average adult male should be getting per day is 2,400 calories (for a sedentary lifestyle specifically). One bottle of Soylent is 400 calories.

If Derek was to meet the suggested amount of calories then he'd probably have to drink 6 bottles of soylent per day.

There are 121 days between September 1 and december 31. This means that derek would have had to have 726 bottles of soylent to meet the suggested amount of calories.

Since he was using a minifridge in his room to store all of the soylent, he probably didn't have that much.

your body can technically survive on 1200-1500 calories a day, but I'm pretty sure that that's close to starving (can vary based fat reserves + hydration).

This means that Derek would need 3-4 bottles of soylent to survive with this minimum in mind, leading to him needing between 363-484 bottles of soylent.

Also, you can survive from 8-21 days without food or water, which leads me to believe that there were several stretched of time where Derek would either drink significantly less soylent or forgo drinking any at all in order to sustain himself till New Years Eve.

I once calculated how much would all these soylent bottles cost but now we have a new number so.

I think I remember Wifies saying that Der was drinking mint chocolate soylent and 12 pack costs $48. 726 bottles (60,5 12 packs) would cost $2904.

and a question that I have since april; what about his rent. did he pay it. if not then why nobody came. i mean like a repo man or smth or a landlord if he was renting the flat out. why they didn’t care lol

Or in the case of magical constipation, the King's one mercy to Derek during this entire exprience was to remove his need to defecate. Like yeah, he'll torture him with the Horrors™, but he's not cruel enough to make this guy shit in his pants

I guess... I would keep the idea of amnesia aside and write the other fic first??? As long as you got the basics down for it, it should be easier to go back?

Alternatively... I may gather as many things as possible that remind me of that specific idea and put them together with what I've written down. Visuals, music, whatever.

That way, if I forget the vibe or something, I can look at them all together and be reminded at once. That's something that happens to me too, but if I get the right "stimulus", then it jogs my memory and I remember.

I have very specific ideas about Lone Souls, I know the beginning and the end, and how everything came to be

I'm just a bit afraid of it because it uses a couple tropes I myself am not fond of, but it somewhat fits the story? And it is a nice what-if, even if not something I would seek for myself.

I probably made it more complex than it should have been, but eh, who knows how my brain works ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Honestly, I'm treating this project as pure experimental ground, throwing ideas that I like and/or may fit together and see what comes out. It's definitely rougher around the edges and more of instinctual writing than anything else lol.

Every time there is a mention of Derek (or even the King) KNOWING things but not having the experience of those, I'm always reminded of Kant's philosophy.

To truly know things, you must experience them first hand.

It's the complete opposite of Plato's philosophy that shaped a lot of other philosophers and perceptions, where the "concept" (idea) is absolute and all we experience is just a copy of an idea that is perfect in itself

My video editor gave me a scare last night ☠️

I had wrapped up the editing for the Matryoshka video for the night, and wanted to work on a little extra, but every time I opened both projects, the program would crash.

I was already getting frustrated and tried multiple things. I had a rendered video that I used to catch any lingering artifacts/mistakes, but it didn't account for the last couple hours of editing.

Gladly, somehow, I don't really know how, the project opened and I fixed all the things that were meant for the morning and rendered another video again

But really, wtf???

I would consider making a mirror account of this on Twitter, but not gonna lie I like how my stuff is ACTUALLY being shared around and seen here unlike over there

Where it doesn't even appear in the hashtags

And where no one sees it

And I hate that new accounts are obscured and don't appear for "bot reasons"
