Hi!! Still obsessed with Circe!Ody, I have some more questions.
1. Does Circe!Ody turn men into pigs or sheep? I keep imaging he turns them into sheep and sells the wool for stuff.
2. Who are Ody parents in the AU? I know in some myths Circe is the daughter of the titan Helios or a daughter of Hecate so just wondering. Although now that I wrote this down, I imagine Ody as the result of a drunken one night stand between Hermes and Hecate. Like they care for Ody and just Co-parent him. And like Ody is so clever with his magic that Athena sometimes babysit him when Hermes can’t. Oh, or the reason Ody is now on the island is because he was exiled from Olympus because he hurt polythmus?( the cyclops) cause the guy could not take no for an answer and Posiden is angry and demands Ody be punished. And Zeus be like “ I know he hurt your kid but He was told no and he's kinda ugly too” And I mean this is the guy that let Hermes get away with stealing Apollos Cows with no punishment. So you know he exiles Ody onto a large island with a big palace and lots of nymphs and treasure. Essentially a punishment but not a punishment yk.

my ideas for Odysseus' parents are actually the same as yours lmaoo, his father is Hermes and the mother is Hecate, I actually had not thought about why he's in Aeaea, it could be that he simply likes being a hermit, but then he met the nymphs, he ends up staying there to keep them safe. Or it could also be a punishment, Odysseus is very prideful and powerful before he ends up in Aeaea, ha had a chance to leave but chose to stay, again because of the nymphs. Athena enjoyed her time with him, she likes his clever mind.

okay wait. I just had an idea and I need to know if anyone would actually be into it.
what if I started a little interactive thing where people send in drawings, mood boards, whatever and I turn them into forgotten gods? Maybe I'd do a fanart of them too!
like I’d give them a name, their domain, a bit of lore, maybe a weird blessing or curse they leave behind.
and then you could interact with them.
ask them questions. send offerings. write stuff about them. maybe other people could worship your god too, or start drama between gods. I’d post little rituals, maybe start a divine war if things get messy. At some point they'll be a major events and you'd get to rp as them? Or simply dictate what they do
just full chaos mythology built from scratch.
