just started watching house and I thought yall were exaggerating but no. every episode is just like three wrong diagnoses that almost kill the patient and then house is like "he has underwater skunk herpes" and they give the guy a new butthole and he's cured. and then house chugs vicodin while talking about wanting to rail wilson.

A list of polish phrases that I'm dissapointed dont exist in english perfectly translated

(Literal translations)

- Wysępić coś od kogoś (vulture something out of someone) - this is used when you see that your friend brought some good snacks with them so you strike them with the Pretty Please With A Cherry On Top Can I Have Some

- Gdyby kózka nie skakała o by nóżki nie złamała (if the goat didnt jump around its leg wouldnt be broken) - fuck around find out, basically

- Do wesela się zagoi (It will heal before the wedding) - used to cheer someone up from some (usually small) issue/injury

- Nie taki diabeł straszny jak go malują (the devil isnt as scary as they paint him) - used when you thought something would be hard but it was actually easier than you expected

- Pierwsze koty za płoty (the first cats are over the fences) - we arent done with this hard thing yet but we are making progress

- O wilku mowa (The conversation is about the wolf) - when you talk about someone who isnt present and they walk in

- Dobrymi chęciami piekło jest wybrukowane (hell is build out of good intentions) - even if you mean well, youre hurting someone ||| used as rebuttal to someone justifying their/someone elses bad actions

- uderz w stół a nożyce się odezwą (hit a table and the scissors will answer) - when youre talking about a general issue and someone starts immediately explaining themselves even though you didnt imply anything about them specifically
