Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!

Though I am not watching the comedy fanfiction that is HotD anymore, I just see posts and gifsets and know that Condal and Hess doubled down on their idiocity; I do get a good chuckle when I remember in season 1 when Rhea Royce is mentioned how Daemon doesn't like her at all and implies that she's ugly but then we get that ridiculous ambush murder in the Vale, and Rhea Royce looked to be perfectly beautiful and capable woman.

Like this is the woman Daemon couldn't get a boner for? Really? Not even a little? Lies and slander.

They did my man dirty and Rhea was clearly an afterthought they only remembered her before they started writing out Rhaenyra's wedding so they sent Caraxes nyoooming soundlessly over to the Vale and then got stashed in some cave while Daemon waited gods know how long at a particular passage in his murder getup to kill his wife. A wife he didn't like and could have killed her in a way that it looked like an accident for years but didn't until three seconds before Rhaenyra was getting married.
