New Fanfiction Good Omens - Sequel - Conjunction

After Gravity and Orbit, Asa and Anthony are back for a sequel that is more intimate, more tender, and more vulnerable too.

I think I simply wasn’t able to leave them behind.

After their first kiss in Gravity, then the deepening of their relationship in Orbit, I needed to continue exploring their evolution. To follow that moment when tenderness becomes more concrete, when desire takes up more space, and when their bond shifts again.

Conjunction will be a 4-chapter story.

They were drawn to each other. They learned to orbit each other. Now, they still have to learn how to truly meet.

Conjunction is the stage where tenderness meets desire, where attraction becomes impossible to ignore, and where staying afterwards matters just as much as surrendering.

Writing something softer, for once ✨ - Good Omens

Writing the fanfictions Good Omens, Gravity and his sequel Orbit has been a very different experience from my other Good Omens fanfictions (and from many of my Broadchurch fics too).

Until now, I’ve mostly written broken characters. Characters who suffer, who survive, or who slowly try to rebuild themselves.

But this little universe has a different colour.

It is softer. Brighter. For once, I found myself writing something more tender: a meeting that gently changes an entire life, the awkwardness of the beginning, the hesitation, the slow drawing closer, two people bound by fate.

And then the desire that begins to grow. The uncertainty. The doubts. That dizzying feeling of the beginning, when everything is still fragile, new, uncertain… but already impossible to ignore.

It was new for me to write something so luminous.

And in the end, it was surprisingly soft.

Good Omens fanfiction

Gravity was meant to be a one-shot, born from the ache the Good Omens finale left me with: that missing space between their meeting in the bookshop and the final scene, several years later.

Several readers asked me for a sequel, and after thinking about it, it suddenly felt obvious: I had to write that promised date under the stars.

So yes, a sequel is now in preparation.

It will be called Orbit.

With Anthony, Asa, astrophysics, a night beneath the stars, and that strange gravity that keeps pulling them back to each other.

✨ Good Omens Finale — spoilers

This ending has stayed with me ever since I watched it.

I’ve watched it several times now, and that image of them, old, together, looking up at the stars, moves me deeply. I think it’s perfect. In the end, maybe it couldn’t have ended any other way.

And then there is that meeting in the bookshop.

Anthony saying to Asa: “I’ll wait for you.”

It’s such a simple line, almost casual. And yet it completely broke me. Because, in the end, Crowley has always waited for Aziraphale. He waited for him for centuries. He waited through his doubts, his silences, his impossible returns. He waited even when it hurt.

And even in this life, even without knowing everything, even without truly understanding why Asa already matters so much, Anthony is still ready to wait for him.

They find each other again. They have time. They can finally love each other.

And yet, something was still missing for me.

A kiss.

Not necessarily something grand. Not necessarily dramatic. Just that simple gesture, long awaited, held back for far too long. That moment when everything they never managed to say across the centuries finally becomes possible.

So I needed to imagine what came next.

To stay with them a little longer, beneath the stars. To give them the kiss that, in my opinion, the show never quite gives them.

That is how Gravity was born.
