My first long distance race where all my bike photos are in aero. I think the camera guys were conveniently just on the flat (yes, 1 flat section) of the course. Also you definitely know it's me with the tritats. . I was definitely happy to hand Sylvester off to a volunteer at the bike finish, but I've already been back on the bike and have plans over my off season to do some extra riding, because I want to be passed less. Actual race photos coming soon! Great news is I finished! Ran almost the full marathon, and had a flat on the bike. Frustrating, yes, but I didn't let that ruin my day. Finish time was 13:20, faster than my A goal of 13:30.

Sylvester was all cleaned up for this picture a few weeks ago, then on my last century + ride almost two weeks ago we got caught in a downpour for a few hours. Last super long brick before my full done in the rain yesterday. Instead of cleaning my bike the rain just makes a mess of it. I feel like I'm running on clouds for the first 2 minutes in new running shoes. Second run breaking these in. Overall good, but still need to figure out how I want them laced to keep my feet from falling asleep, but not letting them get too loose.
