THEY'RE BEST FRIENDS!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE BEST FRIENDS FOREVER AND EVERRRRRRR

I just know that every conversation where someone asks Tim "why didn't you tell us?" will always result in the answer being "I told Dick."
Same with Dick, whenever someone in the family asks him that the answer is "Tim already knew."
When asking the question of "was x historical figure queer?" the answer needs to be "it's fucking complicated, but because modern queer identities didn't exist for them, we need to take their identity and experience for what it is and not make it into a modern thing that it isn't."
We need to be looking at historic queer people in shrimp colors of queerness and romance, basically.
"this is unbecoming of me" is genuinely a useful thing to have in your mental toolbox
I really like the idea of Dick thinking “oh Bruce would be ok without me. He would give me up in a second to be with his parents. And I’m ok with that.”
And Bruce is just like “this is my eldest. If I had to choose what I am proudest of it would absolutely be Dick. I don’t even know how I did it. I love my son. Gosh.”
free my girl she did all that and should’ve fucking done even more

It’s really fun being an American reading a British novel where an American appears like “and then this loud, over-friendly FREAK entered the room.”

All I've done with my life lately is (some) work and Gwynriel/Elucien art.
many things about the chronicles of Narnia made me irrevocably insane at the small age of six years old but one of the big ones was the bit in prince Caspian where caspian blows susan's horn to try and summon help and it summons the pevensie kids like. that's crazy ok. that's insane. imagine at 12 years old you're given a horn thats purpose is basically summoning divine intervention & then years later someone blows it and summons YOU . I'm crazy !
do you have any advice?
eat a protein heavy breakfast. don’t shop on shein. it’s never too late to get more educated. tell people you love them. listen to birds. go to an old growth forest. get really good at something, just to see if you can.
And he thought about Turkish Delight and about being a King ("And I wonder how Peter will like that?" he asked himself) and horrible ideas came into his head.
Be the one, be the one to take my soul and make it undone Be the one, be the one to take me home and show me the sun
susan's horn becoming this great magical thing of legend that summons, essentially, narnia's saints back to it after a thousand years is crazy for many reasons but perhaps most of all because it didn't bring some mythic higher power or legendary hero when susan blew it the first time she needed help. no. it brought her big brother.

"You're right. It's storytelling. And this church, it's not medieval. We're in New York. It's neo-Gothic 19th century. It has more in common with Disneyland than Notre Dame. And the rites and rituals and costumes, all of it." WAKE UP DEAD MAN (2025) dir. Rian Johnson
