I've been watching CR basically since they started putting videos out and absolutely no group of characters has spoken to me like campaign four's characters. I could talk forever about Julien and Wic and Octis and Vaelus and their GRIEF.

But it's the schemers table for me, y'all. The essence of how "just some guy" can be a hero. Ask them if they're heroes and they'd laugh. Hal owns a theater he wants to be a community space. Murray wants to be a good teacher. Bolaire wants friends and fulfilling work. Azune literally can not conceive that he's special and just wants to keep people safe and be useful.

And one day people are gonna tell their kids stories and say "if they could be heroes, so can you."

All because some normal people were a little extra clever or a little extra kind and had the drive to do the right thing, even enveloped in their own grief.
