god bless the editors for including the reactions to that 10/10
Bolaire: I'm going to be good and kind from now on
Bolaire: well, after one last murder
Bolaire: okay several murders
Bolaire: but tHEN--
still thinking about julien throwing his bag at occtis to be an asshole and occtis just. anxiously holding it for several hours before getting up the courage to go try and give it back
like what gives this kid the courage to do things like leaving that letter/destroying the bedroom that night, or his "you're very much not welcome here" comment to tyranny, or hell not freaking out that time julien threatened you with a sword
but yet also instead of like. putting the bag down and waiting for julien to come to you if he wants his shit back, you're just gonna stand there like a deer in the headlights until something else happens
truly one of the characters of all time
CRITICAL ROLE: COOLDOWN Campaign 4 Episode 13
I need 10 million hour episodes every second actually
similar stupidity
Bolaire Lathalia in that cold open was like the innies in Severance finding that extremely stupid self-help book and rewiring their entire brains based on it because there's nothing else to inspire them in their corporate hellscape. A theater mask made for art who was lost in the hellscape of endless war and so starved for meaning that even an extremely silly play about killing god through the power of love and anime was enough to change his entire worldview. Seeing one of Hal's plays must have been like watching Sinners after only having watched the video from The Ring that kills you in seven days and Boss Baby
bolaire, watching a complete fabrication about his critical actions during the shaper’s war be (badly) dramatically performed:
