Hey Yall! Been a while, but here's a fic I wrote a bit ago ^-^

Hi hi everyone! So, uh, funny story: this fic was written like, halfway through Bannerfall SMP, and I never got around to posting it. Since the finale left me a changed and somewhat devastated person, I decided now was the perfect time to share it with you guys so we can all cry in a hole together!

Summary:

Routine was a staple of a knight’s life. No matter what corner of the world you went, to what Kingdom you swore your fealty, the pattern of everyday would soon fall into line beside you.

A long time ago, Owain decided that there were two kinds of Knight. One that stood proudly upon a pedestal of their own making., that felt a thrill of excitement, of pride, every time someone uttered their name, no matter what kind of tone it was uttered in.

Owain was the other kind of Knight. The kind that deserved to be masked.

Four years, with this armour, one thousand, four hundred and sixty days, and the thought of another soul seeing him, seeing his face, his eyes, made him sick to his core.

OR: Owain takes off his armour and thinks about...everything.

This one was so much fun to write, and even though I didn't post it at first because I was worried it wasn't long enough to be good, I'm very happy with it now! Remember kids, it's about quality, not quantity ^-^

DAY 5 - Shandrea

Blood runs thicker the water I guess. (Detailed talk down below) This is a watercolor piece and the song is The Water is Fine by Chloe Ament On the red and blue banners, there are enchantment text. On the red banner it says brave and on the blue banner it says strong. Which I think fit very well for each kingdom and for Katie and Nom. I made Katie hold the drawing of them I felt like it added to the story of the peace

Big fan of people who heavily study or is involved with magic being physically affected by it so headcanons on how the bannerfall mages magic affects them physically.

Cam - Healthiest man you’ve ever seen, looks like he’s never been injured or sick before ever. Perfect hair, skin, teeth, etc. DOCTORS HATE HIM!! Boosts a better immune system and heals way faster than most. Could probably survive things that would kill most people but he isn’t keen to try it. People tend to feel better in his presence. This doesn’t mean he can’t get sick though! Sometimes people don’t believe him when he is actually sick because “you look fine!”.

Sausage - literally the opposite of Cam. HOSPITAL NOW. Looks like he’s on death door. Sunken eyes, dangerously underweight, dull skin, dead hair….people often mistake him for a zombie from afar. The stench of death follows him. He’s actually completely fine this is just normal for necromancers. People tend to feel worse in his presence. Faces the problem of trying to get people to leave him alone because they think he needs help. Casually sees and talks to the spirits of the dead. Yknow how it is. Also I heard he can canonically tell when someone can die? Which is extremely cool.

Shan - Though she can’t breathe underwater like the merfolk or other sea species she can last much longer than regular land species! If she’s around water it responds passively to her emotions. Has unintentionally splashed some people before because she was being annoyed by them. Can go a longer time without drinking water than most because she just got a lot of water in her body. Which also means when she cries she CRIES and finds it really hard to keep herself from crying due to the amount of tears no matter what. Dear god there’s so many tears hugs stat!!!!

El - Can just tell where the wind is blowing even if there’s not a noticeable breeze. Speaking of breezes people just tend to feel breezes around her! She doesn’t get that ear thing or headaches from high altitudes and can handle them much easier. Just passively has the ability to glide from short distances. I’ll be honest I do not have a lot of ideas! Because idk how tf to make air magic affect her physically. I’m so sorry Eloise I have failed you :(.

Scott - A lot of my headcanons actually fit with canon or are canon so YIPPEEE! The flowers in his head aren’t actually flowers he put there. They’re literally growing out of him. Flowers tend to grow where the sun hits him the most which is why he has a head full of them and he wears clothes that cover his whole body. It hurts to remove the flowers and having them along his body can get uncomfortable! The blonde hair and green eyes are a result of his light magic changing his actual colors. He’s technically ginger with blue eyes (like in pirates/cowboys!). His hair and eyes have also considerably lightened since he first arrived in blue kingdom due to him actively using his magic much more. If he is to continue with improving his magic it get to a point he just look like a ghost/wisp. No one has really noticed other than his dad when he went home because it was such a gradual change. Pyro also noticed the change too which is when everyone actually realized that fact. All I’m saying is jumpscare the kingdoms with baby bf Scott pics they won’t believe it’s actually him /pf.

Ren - I’ll be honest he’s only here because a lot of these were actually for bf Cherri but she never actually developed the magic so I moved them to her dad because I’m 99% sure he’s a mage and if he’s not I’m gonna have to kill someone and I wanna share my fire mage hcs so baddies. Anyways this man is a radiator 100%. He’s always warm to the touch and tends to wear loose clothing because he’s prone to overheating. He hasn’t felt and has forgotten what it’s like to be cold in like 30 or something years. If you were to pour water on him or if he were to jump into a lake the water instantly starts evaporating, if he were to stay longer it just starts boiling. Yknow when they pour water over hot rocks in saunas? Yeah that. Has patiently suffered a young Cherri trying to cook an egg on him before. Smells like smoke and when he gets very emotional about something smoke billows off him. Has bright orange eyes that sort look like lava and glow, the veins in his skin also glow an orange but these things are only noticeable in the dark. Has fire resistance which is why Cherri was so willing to jump into fire or lava because surely she’ll be fine too dad does it all the time! Meanwhile Apo just screams.

Enter OMEGA SPOON and BORED VOID, two FOOLS, accompanied by JESTERS as they walk through the town.  A few PEASANTS are gathered nearby, listening. SPOON Mold hath crept up upon me whilst I slept! How long a while it's shadowed my repose, I cannot say. VOID Take care, lest should also creep upon thee the temperament of the village ass. SPOON The mold is not black, 'tis white and gray. FIRST JESTER Pray tell, what’s this? SPOON The sausage that rests upon my pillow has succumbed to the corruption of mold.  I know not when, but it was cover’d well- by this we may assume some time has passed.  SECOND JESTER Prithee, say again, in what manner didst thou keep this sausage? VOID Didst thou preserve it in its casing?  By my accounting ‘tis good and right to let stay a thing on the pillow in sleep; So kept I the company of a stone for seven years. SPOON Aye, I did preserve it.  'Tis a summer sausage, well-wrapped. VOID Didst thou bestow a name on’t? Exit MASTER OF POST ENTITIES. TALTALILY Though sure my words will count for naught Duty binds me to convey this letter that I was given thence.
