Reader’s Comments: Otherwise known as Tim does not have a good time, but gets therapy and makes sure his family doesn’t drown. 

This was a really awesome story that is definitely a cannon fix it, but goes way more in depth into Tim’s mental health during the time when everything got stripped away from him.

Reader’s Comments: The Batkids are all a bunch of troublemakers, and Bruce is a tired dad. This is an all around hilarious story that I highly recommend.

Reader’s Comments: READ THIS! It is one of the best no-power Batfam stories out there, and everyone should read it. It has wonderful characterization and family feels as the Bats are learning how not to be total disasters while supporting and loving one another.

A Good Place by lemonadegarden

Summary: Damian Wayne is kidnapped and sent back years through time. Together, he and Father – who's only been Batman for a mere six months –must figure out how to return him to his own time.

Over the course of the next week, Damian discovers that Mexican gangsters do not mess around, that social workers find Bruce annoying, that Bruce might be a little messed up, and that crystal chandeliers create the fondest memories.

Oh. And Alfred has hair.

Reader’s Comments: ADORABLE! Both Bruce and Dami are so awkward, it is hilarious. But also this story is so sweet and well written. I will definitely recommend.

Five Times Jason Todd Saved His Brothers, and One Time They Saved Him by laceymcbain, reena_jenkins

Summary: “Did you know I was in here, or did you just blow up the place for fun?”

Damian didn't need to see Todd's face to know he was grinning under the helmet.

“It's not really a rescue unless something blows up. But if Bats asks, it was completely necessary."

Reader’s Comments: The Bats are semi-normal, so they bond and act as siblings in a normal way, just with a lot more crashed cars, indestructible friends and ill-advised bets.

Two, it turns out. Two Tim Drakes and a-whole-nother universe.

Reader’s Comments: I love this story. Definitely one of my all time favorites. It has awesome bonding and discussion about how different pasts make different people (it is a age-reversal universe where Jason lived and Tim died). Also both Tims like causing chaos while Red Robin!Tim fixes all of Red Hood!Tim’s relationships.

Summary: It takes a second, but the realization Jason comes to is horrifying. “You dosed yourself. With Joker venom.” Tim nods, still smiling, still shivering. At least the laughter has tapered off, not that that really makes this better, not that anything could make this better.

Reader’s Comment: ANGST, yeah that is pretty much the story. Tim’s mental health is completely gone, and everyone else realizes it. It is a story about recovery, so there is hope and family bonding throughout it.

Reader’s Comments: FLUFF and ANGST is literally what this story is about with a side of Precious Tim. I love the relationships in this one and how the story is developed.

Summary: When he reached the reception, he found himself looking around a fairly empty room. There were a few call girls in the corner filling out forms, an older woman holding a dog, a kid that looked about twelve and a middle aged man who looked like he was ready to cry. He knew no one. Dick was about to turn around and head back to his desk when the on duty officer called out to him. Officer O’Conner was one of his fellow rookies, he had a thick accent. Dick thought he might be from Louisiana. “Grayson! Why didn’t you say your brother was coming to see you?” Dick looked at him with his mouth slightly open. There was no way he heard that right. “My what?”

Reader’s Comments: BROTHERLY BONDING! Jason goes to visit Dick to try to meet his new brother. It goes... pretty well.

The Jason Project by loosingletters

Summary: Jason had just wanted to see his autopsy report, he had only wanted to know what information Bruce had about his death. And when Bruce hadn't given it to him, he had stolen it. He hadn’t meant to stumble upon the bucket list of a dead child and the footage of a grieving father crossing one item after another off the list.

Reader’s Comments: This story hurt so good. Bruce might sometimes be emotionally constipated, but HE LOVES HIS KIDS. Jason and Bruce were both written so well, and they both need hugs.

Summary: The only thing that stops Nightwing from launching himself into the warehouse with a cry of grief and rage is the realization that those kids look awfully familiar.

All three of the boys have black hair. The biggest one, maybe twelve years old, is wearing most of Batman’s uniform, which is sagging and bunching around his small body. The middle sized boy, who doesn’t look any more than five but is probably older if Nightwing’s growing suspicions are correct, is holding his hand and glaring around them defensively. He’s wearing Red Hood’s leather jacket. The largest boy is holding a toddler protectively against his chest.

Oh, damn.

Reader’s Comments: Just another de-aging story that is absolutely hilarious and will make your heart melt.

“If I see him I’ll send him your way, now please.” the man waved Dick towards the rest of the crowd.

He shook his head, “You don’t understand, I think he’s still inside. He was supposed to meet me if we got separated and he hasn’t yet I need--”  The man’s face fell, and with it Dick’s heart.

“What?” he almost growled, “What’s going on?”
