So Dick decided to just stare blankly at the woman in front of him. Her face was at the same height as his, and the only thing he could focus on was her long brown hair. They really suited her, with some strands falling forward and others caught behind like a kind of delicate scarf. They also reminded him of Mami. But the woman wasn't his mom. Dick knew that.
She was Jules’s mom.
But her hands were on Dick’s cheeks, not her son’s. And Dick didn’t understand why she was here, and not with him.
Dick has been living at Wayne Manor for several weeks now. Bruce gives him a lot of freedom, Alfred made his mom’s old recipe, and he’s even allowed to swing from the chandeliers. Life should be good, because honestly, it’s the dream life... If only the monster didn’t keep ruining everything.
