Went last night and photographed some friend’s cars in this cool little spot we found. Here’s squad’s group photo but I’ll be uploading a few separate car images. I have a few favorites and I’d love to share them with you!

So, I did a lot of work to my car over the past week. We put in carpet, a radio, heater, and fixed a few leaks. I initially just made this video for Facebook, but I figured I’d share it here as well.

Yesterday afternoon I had the opportunity to photograph a friend's Aerial club at a local university. It was a pretty cool experience! I got some awesome shots and was able to catch up with an old friend. This is obviously a LOT different than what I usually photograph and post, but I think that makes it even better. :D A little change from the usual never hurt anybody.

Photographing a Wedding!

So, I photographed my very first wedding yesterday. It was a very interesting experience! I went as a part of the OnVideo Productions crew. That is a business that a friend of mine and I started a while back. He shot video, I did photography, and his girlfriend did the polaroid booth that we had set up. It was an AWESOME time. At the beginning I was a bit intimidated because it is honestly a lot of work and could go wrong in so many ways. But, once everything got rolling I found it very easy to relax and enjoy myself while also doing my job! haha The people were all great, very polite and incredibly easy to work with. I'm very glad that my first wedding was a success. Especially knowing how hard weddings can be haha I would say something along the lines of, "Everyone always says how hard weddings are but mine was so easy, I don't get it." But I know that that isn't the case some of the time. Sometimes people can be hard to work with, I'm just very lucky to get very relaxed and understanding people on my first wedding. The venue was a VERY beautiful mansion off of a lake. Of course, with the luck of me being a photographer, my team and I faced a lot of issues with lighting. They had the actual ceremony right in front of a huge window and that made proper exposure a very interesting thing to achieve. The rest of the wedding was held in the bottom floor of the mansion with very minimal lighting, so another hard situation to work in. But, we pulled through and got some awesome shots and happy customers. Maybe this will open another gateway for me and I'll start shooting weddings? haha Photographing bands and concerts will always be my one true passion though, nothing can replace that at all.
