'rose, her name was rose…and we were together.'
And she could not help herself, quickly moving toward the door and taking her first step upon the planet, her eyes widening at the beauty around her and a wide smile curling around her lips. “But this is magnificent.” she whispered.
Sometimes, she wished she could share it with gramps, for she knew how much he would enjoy the planets… Or simply seeing the stars. The universe. Something else then looking through the telescope.
"Where to first, Doctor?"
"Don't be taking pictures now, Donna Noble," he teased, tucking his hands in the pockets of his coat.
It was a colder day. He'd been here before, it could be either incredibly cold, or incredibly warm. He glanced around, and then cocked his head to the side, looking over to the little dome shaped area in that direction.
"Over there, hm?"
" I — " He was going to ask why, but ultimately decided against it. ” Yeah, alright, whatever. “
Al shucked off his bag, taking out his text book. ” What time period? ” Actually, now that he thought about it…
" What kind of errors are you finding? "
"All of them."
The Doctor began flipping through the book, biting his lip and adjusting his glasses before he stopped, flipping a pen from his pocket.
"If I'm going to be teaching History, I might as well be teaching it right."
He clicked the pen, tucking it behind his ear as he balanced the book on one hand and his notebook in another.
"How things happened, by the way - that's what errors I'm finding."
"… I’m still not sure I know what that’s supposed to mean." (Well, it sounds like the TARDIS is a time machine, so there’s that … And even if a ‘Time Lord’ sounds like some boss-level class, I can guess at what it is.) Letting her feet swing idly, Ene glances around at the classroom they’re in; the walls are mostly bare, which makes sense. She’s pretty sure this professor hasn’t been here any longer than she has, which is odd to think about, but this isn’t exactly a normal kind of school.
Where there is decor, though, it’s mostly the sort of equations that make her head hurt just to look at. Time travel is clearly pretty complicated, at least if you want to have any sort of control over it … (I’d probably have to take some kind of remedial math course first to be able to follow along in this one! Jeez.)
"What what's supposed to mean? I mean, Time Lord, me, alien from Gallifrey. Last of my kind. TARDIS, Time and Relative Dimension In Space, bigger on the inside."
The Doctor's gaze traces around the bare walls of his classroom, himself, and he frowns. He needs some posters up here, really. Space, and diagrams - he made a mental note to do that, too - but all he needed, really, was the picture of Rose Tyler on his desk.
Maybe he could spray paint Gallifreyan on the walls. That could look nice, wouldn't it?
(( I have to go on a camping trip starting tomorrow, so I'll be absent from here ;; ))
(( Sorry!! I'll make sure to get to any replies I have as soon as I come home. ))

"You weren’t kidding when you told me— Dear Lord, just look at them!" commented the red-head, staring at the screen in awe before reaching up her hands to hold the handles aside the screen. "They look beautiful." she whispered, eyes glistening up before she quickly turned toward the Doctor.
"We can go there? I mean, without them tryin’ to… I don’t know. Eat us. Or chase us around. No runnin’ involved for this trip? Otherwise, I’ll need t’prepare myself." she half-joked, lips curving up for a second.
"Oh come on, Doctor. What are we waiting for, let’s go."
"Oh, yes. There's so much beauty in this world that you humans haven't seen before - and this is one of those things."
The Doctor's already at the door, and he's cracked it open, scanning the outside before pushing the door open fully.
"Come on, then. Come on, let's go see the Papilians."
" Me? " Of course the teacher was referring to him. Who else would he be calling?
The blonde shrugged inwardly, walking over to the other, who was balancing an open book in his hand, and looked to be vandalizing it.All right!
" Well — Yeah, kinda. Really just American History, though, to be honest. Whaddya need? "
"Alright, lend me your text book. There are at least fifty errors in my version of the book of History, show me yours. So many wrong things."
The Doctor wasn't livid, no, he was impressed with the absolute amount of mistakes in the book.
"I just want to check to see if your book has anything right."
"A lot of times it feels like you have." she stated with a warm smile, raising an eyebrow at him before nodding once.
She couldn’t help the giddy laugh that came over her lips as she heard the familiar noise of the TARDIS taking off, her eyes glistening up as she looked up at the ceiling, her hands resting on the console for a second and a wide smile on her face.
"I’ve only been with my gramps for a day or two, Doctor." she spoke with an amused smile. "Next time, maybe you can show’m the stars too."
"Aw, Donna, don't be so mean - I don't kid you all the time."
The Doctor beamed at his companion, pulling the screen to him to see where he was going - wondering where on Earth he was going, and making sure he was going on the right path.
Three steps to the left, five steps forward, let's go - the TARDIS landed with a thump, and the Doctor pushed the screen to her.
"Welcome to the land of Papilio!"

She grimaces a little at the thought. Over fifty? Most cars probably didn’t have more than maybe twenty or thirty things to push, she thought, and a lot of those were controls for the radio or GPS, not for driving. Not that she knew how to drive a car. ”Isn’t that a little bit dangerous …”
"If you hit one of those on accident, you wouldn’t know what it was going to do until it did it … There’s not a manual or anything, though, is there."
"Oh, it's definitely dangerous! Flying the TARDIS isn't easy if you aren't a Time Lord, and aren't trained into knowing exactly which buttons to press! Good thing I'm all of those, yeah?"
A manual? The Doctor vaguely remembered tossing it into a bin somewhere.
"...Uh, no, I don't think so."
I’ve just remembered…I can dance. I CAN DANCE!

Don't ask why the Doctor's in running shoes today, but he is, and is wandering around, eyes occasionally flickering back to his blue box, and then in front of him.
He turns a corner, lighting his sonic for illumination. Who needed torchlights, anyway?
Stop.
Pause.
Was that a sound?
"Hello? Who's there?"
