Hannah, I understand that you're your mother's daughter, but I desperately need you to forget about the stereotypically attractive white boy turned commander and go have a gay awakening with Becka instead. PLEASE.

I've not seen such a sl*tty Clark with his Lois since Smallville.
It's up and running, Captain. Star Trek - Strange New Worlds: Hegemony, Part II
I love her.
Superman is a man with a dog he doesn't want. Like all men, he's willing to die for the dog within 24 hours.
Who hasn't seen this exact scenario play out in their life?
14 and 16 are going to meet and be so in lov-
What? No.
If they ever meet, I hope 14 is pissed. Because the Doctor loved Rose Tyler, and that's just someone wearing her face.
thirteen: hey just popped in to tell you you're tearing apart reality btw. you're gonna destroy the world and also us
fifteen, not taking in a single word: god so true bestie i DO miss being blonde
fifteen: hey, just wanted you to know that she knows. she knows you love her, and i know it's not good enough because you want to say it. you almost do, once. on a beach, a million miles away, right in front of her. wanted you to know we make the same mistake.
thirteen, remembering bad wolf bay, words faltering around 'i love you' as Rose Tyler's world, a world he can't feel the rotation of, vanishes like smoke. remembers being younger, harsher, softer, in love. remembers the regret: so true bestie i DO miss having sideburns
My favorite thing about tumblr is how a shitpost can randomly contain a line so hauntingly beautiful.
"words faltering around 'I love you' as Rose Tyler's world, a world he can't feel the rotation of, vanishes like smoke..."
I was ready to laugh and now I'm a kid watching Doomsday for the first time again.
idk why i dugadid this to myself
Idk how you did this but this is ART
This is the Doctor Who content I long for
Belinda did Martha's journey in reverse. Martha walked the Earth, turned back the clock, and became strong enough to leave. Belinda started out demanding to go home, and progressively got weaker. She lost her agency and her whole life was rewritten.
She never really made it home.
Andor S02E10, Make it Stop
dedra meero, girlboss queen. never thought the leopards would eat HER face
That should have been Dedra's moment of triumph. But she fails, because at the end of the day, despite hunting him for years, she never understood Luthen at all.
The moment that knife came out it was a question of whether he'd stab himself or Dedra. The moment she confirmed he was surrounded, that there was no way out, was the moment she lost. And she's so busy bragging, so secure in her victory, that she doesn't even think about taking it away from him.
Dedra Meero is so good at her job, but she never even considers that a man can be so true to his cause that he's willing to die for it.
"How confident you are. Confident and terrified."
I started Andor expecting everyone was going to die. And that was ok, because they took the main point of contention for this show - who cares about a prequel for a character who died in Rogue One? - and turned it on its head. They wield the symbolism like a sword. The main soundtrack is a funeral march. A dead woman speaks from the grave and wishes she'd fought before the end. Everyone here is already dead, fighting for a future they'll never see.
But Bix? Bix is going to live. And somehow that's worse.
She's going to live. She's going to make it home to Ferrix. This show will end with her laying bricks for them all.
Well, I was wrong, but I made everyone have to live with my painful theory for a week anyway. Thanks for suffering with me!
(And congrats to the one person in my replies who nailed the actual ending)

DARTH VADER/ANAKIN SKYWALKER in AHSOKA (S01E05)
David Tennant being the bbc's trap card for any and all specials is so funny
WHAT?
The Mandalorian is literally a story about a supporting character.
Here are main characters, Bo-Katan and Ahsoka, hunting down big bads like Gideon and Thrawn, and Din is like “that’s nice, I’m just trying to find a really good preschool for my child” AND THAT IS HILARIOUS I AM FROTHING AT THE MOUTH WANTING TO KNOW THE MAIN FUCKING STORYLINE AND DIN IS REFUSING TO ENGAGE. HE IS LEGIT LIKE “not fucking today, not my fucking division” AND DRIVES OFF IN HIS SHITTY HONDA CIVIC WITH HIS GREMLIN CHILD THAT HAS ANGER ISSUES.
