This is Meringue Cookie!! Shadowvanilla baby except pv had no hand in this and she was created purely as a manipulation tactic lol

Dunno exactly what her story is because I made her up like two hours ago but PV tried very hard to get custody but SM said no fuck you I’m keeping her. I think at some point she spent some significant time with him anyway? She’s constructed like a ball jointed doll, and is a liiiittle burnt but she lives anyway. She is particularly fragile physically due to her meringue dough being so crumbly but she heals quickly, provided she’s not. Y’know. Dead before she gets around to it.

She’s got some poet vibes✨ I’ll play around with the symbolism later maybe lol but something about blurring reality with fiction by using pretty words to describe the truth so no one knows what you’re talking about

The consequences of wearing the same set of armor for years

A doodle I did for my fic with my (insert sappy nickname here) Fizz✨✨ I wanted to explore what’s kept her alive for so long and the consequences of being So Old™️ aaaand this is what we came up with, being preserved with her own salt oooo

Her joints are still okay due to constant movement, though she has less range of movement in the one shoulder since it was weighed down with the armor, it’s also flatter than the other shoulder. Her torso, shoulder, & arm have all molded to the shape of the armor she was wearing, particularly evident in her hips that are far more square than they should be. Anything that wasn’t moved regularly slowly degraded and crystallized over time

In the fic I noted that she still has visible blood flow, which I only realized would be necessary after drawing this and then I got too lazy to add it in lol. So she has a couple visible veins & arteries in the transparent salt bits

She hasn’t done this in a long time. She feels so alive, like her heart beats in time with each and every unsynchronized plant. She can’t even remember the last time she got to do this, having been so caught up in the witches and then after her resurrection, the beasts. She’s realized that somewhere along the line, she’d forgotten to make time to take care of her own well being, and the things she loved the most.

My Fics

Just Your Typical Coffee Shop AU - 522 words

A 2017 fic that held up better than it has any right to. This is pure, undiluted, overdramatic silliness, and features Corn, Vinkle, and Charles interacting, of all characters.

Brer - 1,056 words

Wrip and Kitty focused. A 'missing moments' style fic, this one is cute, short, and sweet. Another 2017 fic, and reads exactly like one of No Evil's early episodes. Nostalgic all around, and probably my favorite of mine.

Xalaquia - 655 words (so far)

Eventual speakmurder, very monkey triplets and Murder focused. Just posted today. If I manage to complete it, it may be No Evil's only canon-focused multi-chapter fic! A lot of heart, soul, and research went into this one, and with any luck, you'll love it as much as I do.

Speakmurder fic that made me pace around the room in distress (incredibly positive). It's the same old story: Murder flies away, and Xochiquetzal tries to get her to stay. If it's not angsty, is it even speakmurder?

Hunter's Moon by ss_carnelian (@sun-turner) - 2,485 words

A cute little exploration of Corn and Huey's friendship on a sleepless night. Huey's joke is on point and I love the idea Ixtlilton taught Corn magic. Nice prose all around.

Questions by xSpeechlessx - 3,730 words

Another 'missing moments' fic, focused on Charles stealing Ixtlilton's mask. Sadly, this may be the weakest entry in the list, due to some grammar issues and lore-fudging for dramatics. But its weaknesses are outweighed by its strengths - the tension between Charles and Ixtlilton crackles all the way up to the story's inevitable conclusion.

As always, there's lots more great stuff to find, and the authors listed frequently have other work I adored. Give 'em a few kudos if you like their work, and happy reading!

Okay I looked for platonic bingos because everything was so romance focused on the template I was using but couldn’t find any, SO you just get my thoughts:

Both duos have a FASCINATING dynamic, though I find Flowey an interesting character and I want to study him like a bug so that contributes to that at least a little bit.

The idea of Papyrus being SUCH good friends with Flowey and Sans hating it and having to struggle through Flowey being around for his brother’s sake is goddamn hilarious.
