Let’s have a chat about Jorts. Yes, I said Jorts. By definition: the marriage of jeans and shorts. We used to play drinking games at the beach every time we saw someone walk down the beach in jorts. Now they were mostly men and I think men are still not ready to don jorts in the way the ladies are bringing them back. I’ve had many conversations with mixed reactions. But, styled right, I personally and all over this trend. As I zoomed through Target a few weeks ago, trying to avoid the clothing section, through the corner of my eye I was drawn to the cutest Boyfriend Jorts. I grabbed a pair. Did not even try them on and kept on through my Target trip trying to not get distracted again. PS this is why we can’t get out of Target under $100. I was so excited to get home and try on my new Jorts. And was not disappointed at the results! I’m obsessed. If it’s about 70 degrees they are in for the day. I have been pairing them with everything from silk tunics to school boy blazers with bright flats. I’m convinced that the key to keeping jorts looking classy is by dressing them up a bit. I would never just throw on a tshirt and tennis shoes with them. Take your jorts up a level and you will look put together. And, no one will say “drink” when you walk by.
