This was actually done between 2022 and 2023. I‘m surprised that I like it. Back then I had this Concept of them becoming evil, leaving the Night Court and ruling Dusk instead (Nesta as High lady, Emerie the court‘s General and Gwyn some kind of Diplomat who worships koschei). Emerie is still my favourite, Gwyn and Nesta don’t look evil ughhh.

Then I tried something with the sisters. Failed that one too.

It was done on new years last year. Looks crap to me now.

Feyre lying about being sexually assaulted in WAR and then having the audacity to be angry at Lucien and Tamlin for believing her, pisses me off so much I almost DNF the book. I only kept reading because I was holding out for a twist that I now know will never come. That part made me hate Feyre’s character and her never facing any consequences or reflecting on how lying about being SA is wrong, soured me on the series and SJM as a writer.

We love the idea that Lucien has been glamouring himself to hide his Day Court powers, especially while growing up in Autumn, for his own self-preservation. We wanted to commission an art piece that depicted his powers surfacing, and all the inner conflict and angst that must make him feel.
