nothing feels as good as starting to read again when you havenât held a book in your hand for such a long time and now the setting sun is in your room and thereâs paper under your fingers and you feel so good about letting the words float into you again
Iâve got a very honest face.

âWhy are women better suited to the con than men? It comes down to one universal truth. No man will ever believe a woman is smarter than he is.â
The Hustle (2019) dir. Chris Addison
an author i love just tweeted about how âbig joy and small joy are the sameâ and how she was just as content the other night eating chocolate and cuddling her dog as she was on her Big Trip to new york and honestly. i think thatâs it. this morning i was listening to an audiobook while baking shortbread in my joggers and i realised i really didnât care what Big Things happened in my future as long as i could keep baking and reading at the weekend and maybe that is the kind of bar we have to set to guard ourselves against disappointment. just appreciate and cherish the mundane stuff and see everything else as a bonus.
found it - she was replying to this thread that starts âunpopular opinion: i donât think your life has to have a purpose, or you a grand ambition; i think itâs okay to just wander through life finding interesting things until you dieâ and i for one think thatâs fucking brilliant

âŚFour years together, and he still didnât trust her enough to tell the truth? Their dog was sick, and he USED IT AS A TEST to see what sheâd do, instead of telling her the truth and saying heâd take care of it? He didnât hear that she sold the violin and IMMEDIATELY break down, tell her the truth, get it back from her and tell her that she didnât have to worry about how theyâd pay for their beloved petâs medical treatment, and apologize profusely for having his own head stuck so far up his ass that he let her stress over it in the first place? YES. THE ENTIRE MAN.
I am so so incredibly sad for her. Being with someone who doesnât pull their weight in a relationship is so fucking tiring. Youâre always exhausted & resentful because you know you deserve better. She had to sell her own possessions & work her ass off for YEARS & he never thought she deserved more than what she had. He couldâve done so much shit for her out of love but instead saw nothing wrong with her strugglingâŚ..? He has to be a psychopathâŚ..
This is truly awful - he put her in a bad financial position with unnecessary stress FOR A TEST
I googled it because I had to know how sis was.

Today is one of those days where you can't quite believe it's Thursday already, and the week's almost already gone. It's sunny but very windy out, and I picked up an etiquette book at the store, just for some light reading. What are you currently reading? đ | IG: @sarahboparah
I saw the future. There were so few bees left that they cross-bred beekeepers with them so they could better connect with them.
I was taking a test to identify plants (I won because some dude thought pineapples were berries) and after that I met a beekeeper who worked inside of a giant glass beehive and had little antennas and a dope ass beard.
Everyone was commenting on this post, saying that pineapples ARE berries, and even I was like, huh, thatâs not right, so I looked it up, and
Bananas, tomatoes, watermelons, coffee, cocoa, pomegranates and pumpkins are also berries.
W-what????????â
WHAT DO YOU MEAN POMEGRANATES ARE BERRIES????
You know what isnât a berry? Strawberries. Fuck fruit scientists.
hey is everyone ignoring the part of the dream where bees and beekeepers fucked
