I am grateful to the women that ignored people that told them that they could not or should not do certain things because they were women; the women that quietly went ahead and let their actions prove preconceptions were wrong are my role models.

I am equally grateful to all the women that were outspoken and drove the feminist movements and cleared the way for others to be treated as equals.

This photograph epitomizes a popular low light technique which utilizes reflectors to maximize the lighting of the model. For some reason these photos seem to predominantly be shot on ocean beaches.

For me; this tends to produce images which look like they were created by or with mediocre AI tools. I find they often have too much contrast and the effect is distracting from the overall aesthetic. They too often seem fake.

What are your thoughts on shots which utilize this technique?
