Part 1: Ted the Caver

So I really liked this one. I was listening to a girl reading the whole thing on a live so the chat was shipping the characters and making jokes about holes which was a bit disorientating, though (but sometimes funny af)

Anyways this is obviously The Buried like be so fr rn. I did NOT just listen to a two hours long description of digging holes in a cave and squishing through the holes and the desire to keep going and digging in more for you to tell me that it's not The Buried.

I'm thinking it could possibly have an element of The Dark since as far as I'm aware The Buried doesn't really have monsters or anything?

Theoretically there was no monster mentioned there but the weird sounds from the hole and the scene where they get out of the cave and something that they cannot see tries to drag the rope back in, Ted seeing a shadowy figure in his house, etc. it sounds kinda The Dark coded

You are not the only one. I thought about that as well. I also thought about other creepypastas/short reddit horror stories. The story of the "Smilling Man" has a very similar vibe to the Stranger. "No End House" for me feels like the Spiral.

he said that when he lived in texas they changed the law to define marriage as “between a man and a woman in a house of religious worship with the intention to have children” so he filed his taxes as single and when they called him up like “you filed married last year” he was like “you changed the law, i was married by a judge in a courthouse and i have no intention of having kids” and they told him “you know who that law was for” and i guess he hung up on them and did not, in fact, pay taxes as a married man that year
