Work submission will only be accepted by e-mail.
The story must have at least 2.000 words and at most 15.000 words;
The story must be unpublished, which means that the story must be written for this collection. Stories that have been published somewhere else before will not be accepted;
The story must be a one-shot - if you want to give it a sequel later, thatās okay but for the collection, do the story in a way that can be read as a stand-alone work.
The story doc must contain a header with title, brief summary and, if necessary, warnings. Example:
Summary: After suffering a terrible accident, Arthur is going to need the help of his husband to put his life back together.
Warnings: Traffic accident description, sexual intercourse, bad language
You need to put your pen-name somewhere in your art. It can be in the board or it can be just inserted somewhere in the drawing itself like a signature.
Your work doesnāt need to be in color;
The drawing must have a title and a brief description of what it is portraying.
If the drawing has a story behind it that you feel is important to share, feel free to put it on the drawing itself.
Attach a board with these informations at the bottom of the drawing. Please check the previous event to have an idea of how the board can be.
Rule number 01: All stories must necessarily have Alfred and Arthur as the main couple.
Rule number 02: This is a collection for people who support them as a COUPLE, therefore stories in which they are brothers or just friends/acquaintances (with no romantic and/or sexual interest from any of the parties) will not be accepted. Other than that, they can have any kind of dynamic you want.
Arthur and Alfred have had something romantic/sexual in the past, but are no longer together;
They have secret feelings for each other;
Although they begin only as friends/acquaintances/strangers, their relationship moves towards a romantic/sexual direction throughout the narrative;
They COULD have fallen in love if it were not for X circumstances that causes them to, noticeably, try to ignore their own feelings;
When the story begins, they are already dating, getting married, living together for 40 years and so on.
Alfred and Arthur are two people who know each other and well, thatās it;
Alfred and Arthur are good friends that stay friends and only friends
Alfred and Arthur are brothers.
* It is worth to mention that polyamorous relationships that USUKUS is a part of are also accepted in this collection.
Rule number 03: No apologies to rape, pedophilia, racism, transphobia or anything of the kind. This means that fics or fanarts with ālolisā or āshotasā are definitely, definitely cut from this collection.
Rule number 04: Adult and dark themes can be addressed as long as they do not violate rule number 03 and the necessary warnings are made.
Erotic stories will be accepted, but it is required they have a warning in its header.
Erotic drawings will also be accepted, however they will be displayed at the end of the collection and after a warning.
Rule number 05: If a work evades the collectionās theme, it will not be accepted.
Rule number 06: Fanfics need to conform minimally to the normative grammar to be accepted and we recommend that insecure authors look for a beta reader. Your work doesnāt have to be flawless in grammatical aspects, but it needs to be understandable and not have major mistakes.
Rule number 07: Your story or fanart, in full version, canāt be posted in any other place before the collection is released. However, fragments, drafts, and unfinished versions can be shared at any time.
Rule number 08: You canāt put in the collection works that were already published somewhere. You will have to submit something new.
At least one of your main characters must be recovering from something during MOST of your story. The story may start with them doing fine but remember that the focus must be in the recovery process they will experience due to some event. Ā
In the end, they donāt need to be in a perfect situation but thereās MUST be some progress from the point they were when the incident happened. This collection is about HOPE.
Examples of things they could be recovering from: The lose of a member of the family, a divorce, an accident, an abusive relationship, an addiction, a mental illness, any illness really.
Always be respectful about the topics youāre going to use in your work and try to do your research on it.
