I’ve never, ever, ever seen a priest turn anyone away from Communion in a Catholic Church. I know it happens, but it’s not normal. 

Yes, it is true that non-Catholics may not receive Communion in a Catholic Mass as a general rule. But if a truly starving person (someone of Eucharistic faith) is at my table I’d think I would feed her even if she wasn’t invited. But I’m a Muslim revert so maybe I’m a little biased against this kind of legalism now.

Have you ever struggled with questioning your gender? I don't know what to do anymore. Part of me keeps telling myself I can limbs happy just being butch, the other, really feels male sometimes. I'm so lost. It is even more frustrating that having coming out as lesbian recently, I was happy that I wouldn't ever have to come out again. Coming to the reality that may be trans scares the shit outta me.

I absolutely have. I spent most of my childhood being really confused about being a girl. In college and grad school I did a lot of work (I was an art major) about gender performance. It’s something I still think about. Honestly, I “came to terms” about being a woman in my mid 20′s. I think if it’s something you are wrestling with in your own mind, look for some books or movies (”Venusboyz” comes to mind) and maybe also seek out a trans men’s support group? You might be able to gain a more positive perspective and discover more about yourself and how you feel about your identity. 

Also, if you are trans or not, BOTH are awesome. It’s a gift, not a negative thing. Yes, it will be hard to deal with the people outside of yourself BUT if you can accept the fact that being L,G, B, or T is a fun and amazing thing, more people will be on board with you.

I think the suggestion of exposing yourself to a lot of different opinions is about the best way you can go. There are lots of blogs and information and support groups for transmen; there are also lots of blogs and information and support out here for women who are working to do female a little differently, although we’re sometimes a bit harder to find.  I know that when I was searching high and low for answers regarding gender identity and how to reconcile and fit with my body, all I was really able to find was transmen talking about their experiences. There didn’t seem to be much discussion of body discomfort or dysphoria coming from any resources other than those that led to transition. I transitioned and then detransitioned when I figured out that there were different ways that I could manage the disconnect and live my life free of medical intervention. Now, there are more and more blogs for women who deal with dysphoria and that disconnect that leads some females to identify as trans in different way, and those should be resources you at least check out a bit too. I wish that I had such a wide-range of support options when I was still young and struggling as there is now. Just a few good examples of women who have struggled with gender identify and what that means in different ways and how to inhabit that are redressalert, twentythreetimes, amethystmenace 4thwavenow and my own blog (and I’m sure you’d find more if you clicked through any of these). I wrote pretty specifically about some of my own struggles with this in my most recent post.

Excellent debunking job. The whole transgender edifice is built on the premise that there is such a thing as a male or female brain. It has to be. Otherwise, what would be the point of marinating prepubescent brains in puberty blockers? Of binding breasts attached to the “wrong body”? i think a lot of "dfab" people ID as nonbinary because transwomen claim that womanhood is an innate feeling, and most girls don't have some sort of "girl feeling" so they have to say they're nonbinary to avoid being accused of transmisogyny. also they can't be trans men because trans men are THE WORST misogynists apparently.

Holy shit, revelation. This makes so much sense. For a time I went around questioning whether I was “really a woman”, because always on Tumblr I see it said that it’s ~what you feel in your brain~. However in the back of my mind I knew always I was a woman? So this confusion Tumblr libfems put into my head was and is so directly harmful to us. We see males who want to co-opt womanhood tell us that it’s a feeling, and if we ourselves can’t get into forced femininity then we end up feeling like shit and degrade ourselves and try and take away our womanhood ourselves, no work involved on their part. This is just insidious.

Holy shit, same! When I was just getting into gender critical theory, I realised that I didn’t feel like anything. I just feel like me. I freaked out because we’re supposed to identify as a gender, right? But then I realised that I don’t have to identify as anything because I AM a female. That’s what I am.
